Great product for beginners.
I've been holding off on reviewing this for a while. I got 1 of these razors back in April 2019. Very good quality at a very affordable price range. I shave a fair amount of times and I have not seen the handles coming off loose. I can't recommend this enough. If you aren't sure if you want to get into straight razors and want a reliable "cheap" straight razor/shavette look no further. No, I'm not being paid by anyone. I always look forward to a great shaving experience when I use this compared to cartridge razors.

Great razor for the money
The good; Over all good setup its nice it comes with shark blades and it shaves nicely. The pin for the pivet is nice and tight. Because of the nature of wood its not the thinnest handle out there and that's what I like, perfect handle for someone with bearpaws for hands. But not too big for average hands. The stamped spine is tight and holds the blades in a perfect spot.My critical critique; out of the box the handle is nice, how ever theres quality control issues clearly. Who ever shaped the handle used an aggressive grit in doing so and took some wood chunks with it and when they finished with what appears to be 220 it didn't remove all the deep cuts from the heavier grit shaping process. The handle is also raw wood, this is good for someone who might be sensitive to finishes but after the first use the wood took a light grey faded effect from getting wet; I used a cutting board oil to oil the handle and it looks much nicer and will give it some protection from staining in the future. The pivot pin is a rivet done on a machine or press but they stamped it too far into the wood, causing the wood to be compressed. For as large as the pivot rivet is there could of been a machine screw in its place to loosen or tighten the blade for the future as the blade ages. As the rivet cannot be peened to tightened in the future. The steel body is smooth on the side near the blade. But the tail of the blade and on the underside you can tell they hit it on what appears to be a 60grit belt and used an aggressive buffing compound to polish the rest of it out. But heavy grind marks are still very visible throughout the blade. There was also buffing compound dust all throughout the cracks and crevices of the blade. Definitely give the body a wipe down with some acetone before use, the wax from the buffing compound could be an irritant to your skin.Over all, if you're looking for a straight razor with replaceable blades. Go ahead and buy this one, for the money its totally worth it and gets the job done! Make sure to order a box of shark blades to go with this razor to enjoy your shaving to come.

Great for learning to straight-razor shave (or for those who don't want to strop all the time)
I had a Dovo shavette prior to this, which was all plastic. This is much closer to the feel of an actual straight razor, so it is very much recommended for someone looking to start straight-razor shaving so that you can get a feel without worrying about stropping technique or overall sharpness. This has quality razor-arm construction and clamping mechanism, as well as a good weight and balance that is very close to a genuine straight razor. The finish of the scales on the one that I had was a little rough, but does just fine with a light sanding. That's likely not a big deal for the person who is seeking to get into straight razor shaving.

Love my Parker!
Great razor for the price! If your new to strait razor shaving, I recommend reading up on the proper techniques on how to use a shavette-style razor. Just remember that shaving with a strait razor is much different than a typical commercial style cartridge razor. These puppies are sharp! Once you get your technique down, get ready for the closest shave and straitest lines you’ve ever had!

Good for barber who is experienced!!
I am a licensed barber and I’m so used to the feather razor so this feels cheap to me but it does work great for other barbers in my shop! The only issue I have is opening it to put a new blade in it sticks and is hard to open I’ve cut my finer multiple times trying
