The front ones are cheaply made. As soon as I closed the hood they popped out and scratched my new paint. Don't buy these.

The trunk struts worked out perfect as can be expected. The front hood struts, the retaining clips on the end that connect to the car are plastic, and they broke immediately. The connector stays on the receiver ball on the car, but they easily pop out since the retainer clips were made of plastic and broke off on day one. Oh well...like i said the trunk struts were great.

I used this product to keep my car trunk up, it's just brand new, now I don't have to use one arm to hole the trunk open. I'm very happy with this product.
