Great answer to leaf vacuum problem.
I got a leaf vacuum a few years back in a trade with a guy on craigslist. I had an old boat ... he had the leaf vacuum that you pull behind your lawn tractor. My problem was he didn't have the attachment that went on the chute of the lawnmower to hook my mower to the vacuum. I was at a tractor supply and they had the entire Agri-fab leaf vacuum for sale there. They didn't sell the attachment separately so I wrote down the name of that vac and came home and found the same exact chute adapter here that came with the full machine. You need to be careful on making your marks on this and doing the cutting as this is a universal type chute and has no pre-cut holes in it. You need to cut it yourself to fit your mower. Mine is an Ariens 42 inch and I did an ok job of it but it works like a charm. I had to make some brackets out of the material I cut out and use them to firmly attach this chute to the mower but if you are at all handy with this kind of stuff I believe you will be able to handle this just fine. By the way if you don't already have a leaf vac ... go look at videos on youtube for a bag collector... you drag a very large bag behind your mower and it will do a great job... just remember not to back up over this bag or there goes that money.....lol. You have to have the blades engaged to push the leaves into the bag so watch out when backing up. There are videos of guys who made their own trailer for the bag so they could back up tho.... cool stuff..! You can get those bags here on Amazon... search for Lawn tractor leaf bag. You will just need to get the hose and this attachment to go with it.... works really good from what I saw on the videos.

Works great!!!
This 150.00 set up does the same as a 1,100 system. So glad I found it. You want to get the chute hole as close to the deck hole as possible even though I didn't, it does give me room to move it closer later on incase the plastic starts to give way around the bolt holes. I also put side bolts in for bungee straps later if need be. The bottom side I had to cut a u shape to keep blade from hitting it and the chute was alot taller than the deck so behind the bolts was a gap that I used good duct tape to seal it with. Best hose results is to make it as short ,straight and low as possible to eliminate clogging or go with 8 inch hose and make sure you cut out and put exhaust on your container some where so air can flow out

Worked perfectly for my Dixie Chopper
Bought a used DR Lawn vacuum on Craigslist. Needed to make an adaptor for my Dixie Chopper ZTR mower. There are several brands out there, but this was the least expensive and thought I would give it a try. Was able to make fit just about perfectly. Very pleased with result. Hard to know how durable since it is subject to some pretty harsh treatment, but so far fine and would consider the same if, down the road, it needs replacement. One piece of advice...I cut the plastic with an angle grinder and thin metal cutting blade...it goes fast and is straight and controllable...easier than a handsaw or jigsaw.

Universal and easy.
I also bought the mounting plate to go with this and make sure you use very large washers. This has made an old cheap vac system I bought save me so much headaches and work. I did a few things to fit mine. white paint marker to project mounting cut. Used a heat gun to bend out the side to fit the flare on the deck. Then a dremel was the fastest work.

Husqvarna MZ 52
Husqvarna MZ 52 LE zero turn.Needed this to hook up an older lawn vac that came with a "standard" metal chute that fits most "standard" decks. (lowes/home depot type lawn mowers). The standard hookup didn't fit my zero turn so I bought this. This comes without a pre-cut hole.I used a drill to make a starter hole, then cut out the hole with a jigsaw.Used a piece of metal from lowes/home depot, to bolt to the deck. See pics.Used a few pieces of other connectors, (lowes/home depot/ or wal mart) to attach the unit to the metal piece I installed on the deck. Not too hard. It works. Couldn't use my new to me (old lawn vac) before, and now, with this part, I can, so I'm happy with it. I unbolt the unit from the deck for normal cutting.

Know what you need.. Learn a lesson from me.
I'm sure this has its place. It feels foolish to spend so much money on a hunk of plastic, but compared to OEM parts, the price seems downright appealing. Now, if you don't have most of a grass-catching system already, learn this lesson from me: There's more to it than the chute adapter, ducting, and a container. I thought I could save hundreds of dollars by buying this, some ducting, and a collection bag to drag on a tarp behind the mower. I drastically overestimated how much airflow is created by a mower deck unassisted. Once I got everything put together, the grass clippings that didn't get left on the lawn were just collecting in the chute. Hardly any of it reached the ducting, let alone the bag. Some of you may read this and think I'm an idiot for thinking it would work.. Yeah, you're probably right. Maybe I should have known better. Perhaps if you could get an airtight seal all the way to the bag and reduce the ducting diameter to increase the airflow speed, MAYBE it could work?.. but even if it could, that would require more time than I'm willing to put into it for imperfect results. So this was a failed experiment of mine. Instead of saving hundreds of dollars, I spent around $100 and only have a pile of scrap to show for it. I guess you win some and lose some.
