AWESOME BOOK
This book is excellent! A special Thanks goes out to my theologian minded spiritual sister Debbie Georgianni for highly recommending this book. Joan Carroll Cruz' Angels and Devils, is a fascinating read. Judeo Christian scripture both Old and New Testaments have taught that the heavenly angels have assisted us throughout history. This book is beautifully penetrating. It's a font of information that will help the reader feel comforted and aided in times of trouble, as well as help one navigate through life's turbulent periods. After reading this book there is a good chance that you will feel quite comfortable calling out to these loving, powerful heavenly beings for assistance in your life's most challenging moments. And that's what the heavenly angels are there for - To assist us earthly souls, because where there is good, there is also evil and we here can use all the help we can get. Get yourself a copy or two of ANGELS AND DEVILS and learn more about things that are seen and unseen.

Deepening Faith: Insights from 'The Pope's Exorcist
As a 39-year-old Latina woman deepening her sacramental life, I found "The Pope's Exorcist: 101 Questions About Fr. Gabriele Amorth" profoundly resonant. The book illuminates the spiritual warfare and sacramental undertakings of Fr. Amorth, moving past sensationalism to offer a truthful, grounded perspective. It connects deeply with my journey towards a richer spiritual understanding, providing both historical insights and practical guidance that enriches my faith and informs my sacramental practice.

Informative, but repetitious
If you're looking for a traditional Catholic book about angels, this is an excellent choice. On the downside, many of the topics covered were supported using the exact same scripture, saintly quotes and stories. Although aptly applied, the frequent repetitions made the book feel tedious in places.

I wasn't sure what to expect
I've read a lot of books on angels, the good and bad. I have also read a few other books written by Joan Carroll Cruz. This one was just as good as her others. Very informative and interesting. Thank you!

Angels and Devils
It is very informative so much about the topic is covered. It is a good size paperback book with inside knowledge regarding beings that are in a constant struggle that has so much to do with human beings in our daily lives. I've just started reading this book and I find it very interesting covering in more detail what the bible doesn't, I'am glad that I purchased it.

Liked the beginning but weak in the end.
Although I found the topics interesting, the layout was different. The first portion of the book covers historical descriptions of the angels. The next portion describes several historical angelic encounters. The third section goes on to describe historical encounters with demons by various saints. So far, so good. The last section was much more poorly written. It supposedly describes why demonic encounters occur and makes references to several “occult” activities and then makes frequent statements, without citing any evidence or support such as, “Freemasonry certainly causes that” or “this could undeniably cause that”. (These are examples of her writing style, not exact quotes.) The last section appears to be almost exclusively the author’s take on traditional Catholic viewpoints. I think her point would have been made much stronger by citing examples of various activities causing demonic possession rather than simply stating that they certainly could. Enjoyed the first half, disappointed by the second half.

Heavenly
I must admit that I did not know what to expect with the book. I did know that joan Carroll Cruz was a good writer so I bought the book. I absolutely loved it. This book defines the topic of Angels and their fallen angel brethern. This is a practical, scholarly approach to the topic with wonderful suggested sources. I came away with so many possible things to read that I was stunned. I think that everyone of faith will enjoy this book. Have fun.
