Amazon Brand – Pinzon Plaid Flannel Bed Sheet Set - Queen, Bordeaux Plaid

UPDATED: 11/6/20192 Days ago - As the night air started to catch a crisp, and we put some hot cocoa on the stovetop - My lovely wife, the most amazing creature in the world (Who conned me into buying these $54 sheets *Read below*) informed me she put these sheets back on our bed to keep us a little more comfy at night - I must say, I love them now more than last year when we purchased them.These are fantastic and I love them. Read my original review:If my wife would allow it, my diet would consist of Ramen noodles, and potatoes.How does this relate to Bedding? Well my good friends, I will explain it to you:We are an upper middle class family, as most fathers and husbands go, I feel that every penny I earn should be saved for my family and my childrens education, cars, emergencies, etc. So when it comes to my personal care, I'm very tight in the pockets.I'm often cold at night, and our sheets have almost always been either the cheap jersey cotton, or the even cheaper still bad motel sheets you can purchase at your local store for $12.99 for an entire set - again, I'm probably the cheapest person I know.My wife told me that sheets would make me warmer at night - I knew it was a ploy, I told her so, but to me, my wifes happiness is ultimately what drives me day to day, year to year. I purchased the sheets last Saturday.Quickly they arrived at our door, my wife laundered them, stripped our bed, and put the new decorative sheets and pillowcases on. As our bed time approached I became more and more eager to see what my $54.99 had purchased me.Now - mind you, I'm hard to impress.I slipped into these sheets at bed time, and my body experienced a bliss that its never felt. These words cannot describe the satisfaction that I now sleep with. There is no review or star rating high enough for these sheets.This company has earned a life long customer in me, and I'm also now very happy to continue purchasing these sheets, even if they are 3-4x more than I would usually spend - Why?Quality of sleep, comfort, and the feel of these sheets at night and in the morning is unsurpassed. If you have read this review, and have not purchase the sheets yet, all I can say is that you are missing out. LOVE THEM

When I saw these I knew my husband would love them. They are a thick flannel. I always wash before using new sheets and I felt that they needed it especially because I could smell the dyes, or something in them. That did wash out. Very warm! He does love them, as do I. If they don't hold up well, I'll update this post, but they are fairly heavy flannel and I don't anticipate problems. I am a quilter and clothing sewist, so I do know fabrics fairly well. I tell you this to validate my statement that the fabric seems "quality".

This is my second set of these sheets (in two different patterns), and they're both nice, but this one had some issues that the other didn't. Firstly, holy wah did the dye bleed -- it took two heavy washes before the water ran clear. Similarly, it lints up my dryer like nothing else. I was pulling bits of red pulling off of clothes for weeks, and I was pulling orange-sized clumps of lint from the dryer lint trap for the first few times I dried them.But! Apart from the washing-related issues early on, now that they're "broken in," they're quite nice sheets for the price. The flannel is not as dense and heavy as I'd like for keeping warm over these winter nights, and doesn't seem as sturdy as the set I bought a few years ago but they definitely are soft. They're far from high-end sheets, but for the price, they're worth it.

I have only one set of flannel sheets for my bed. There were signs that this set was fast approaching the time that they would need a Christian burial. After review all the options, I settled on this product. Upon receipt, the box that the set was sent was marked clearly California King. The plastic container inside the box didn’t have any markings as to the brand name, set size, or anything. I found this strange. I took out the fitted sheet and checked the tag, shown in the pictures, and it stated that it was a California King and had the correct dimensions.I washed it in cold water with some vinegar. I put it them in the dryer. After an hour and a half, they still were not completely dry, so I added more drying time. They were dry then. I took out the filter and saw why it took so long. (See pictures). This is the first set of flannel sheets that I have purchased. Cleaning the filter part way through the first time drying will be part of my routine in the future.I put them on the bed, and they felt great. Over a week’s use, there were about ten pills of rolled up fiber. I washed in cool water setting. Over a week’s use, there were about twenty compressed pills. Going back to cold water, there have not been any pills since. I do wash these sheets by themselves.After several weeks, I noticed that the flat sheet seem a little wide and a little short. It was still long enough that the flat sheet stayed tucked at the foot of the bed, so it was not a major issue. Finally, I decided to check the tag on the flat sheet. It was a King flat sheet with the size of 105” x 105”. (See pictures).That is the size listed on the product page for a King flat sheet. The product page list states the California King 108” x 102”. I have been using these sheets for over a month, and the flat sheet does work. Based upon this I’ve decided not to return them. I did want to complain to Amazon.com but since this is an Amazon.com product, there is not an option box for Leave Seller Feedback. Thank you, Amazon.One other criticism I read from the review were wear issues. For me, there has some loss of softness but not to the point of being more than a passing comment.Since this product met my requirements, and I am happy with them, I rate this product with four stars. My issue concerning receiving the wrong size flat sheet does not have anything to do with the quality of the bed sheet set. Also I strong suggest that if you purchase them, check the tags on the sheet to ensure that you received what you ordered.

I love these sheets. They are not too heavy or too thin. They look great as well. I have washed them 3 times and they are holding up well. No piling or loose threads. Very comfy to snuggle in to. They do leave a lit of lint in the lint trap of the dryer, but I think that is to be expected from new flannel sheets. They feel great, are warm enough and look nice.

Deliciosas sábanas de franela. Nuestro colchón es Queen pero más largo que los normales y normalmente no encontramos sábanas que le queden bien más que si son de las de tela de playera t-shirt. Como tenía miedo que se encogieran las sábanas las pedí Cali King. Jaja Oooops!Ni lavándolas con agua caliente y poniéndolas en secadora vi que se encogieran. (Obvio si las pides del tamaño de tu colchón, NO se te ocurra lavarlas con agua caliente ni ponerlas en secadora caliente por si se llegarán a encojer) Yo no noté esto porque las pedí más grandes.El tono es un rojo vino y gris en las líneas. Yo las compré para que nuestra cama tuviera un ambiente más navideño y de época de frío. Me encantó el diseño.La suavidad y grosor son EXCELENTES!!!! Cero transparentes. Gruesas deliciosas, no tiesas.Es verdadera franela, gruesa y suave. Son las mejores sábanas de franela que he comprado en mi vida. La calidad superó mis expectativas.Cómprenlas para la siguiente temporada de invierno. Me encantaron. Súper suaves para esconderte en ellas en temporada de frío.Espero te haya sido útil esta reseña :)

La tela es gruesa y de calidad, me encanta el diseño, el único pero que podría ponerles es que aunque puse el tamaño “standard” vienen un poco grandes, pero bueno... aún así no se nota demasiado, las recomiendo.Llegaron de manera rápida.

Very comfortable! The colors are the same as in the picture (red and cream I think the name was), and I am happy with the price I paid for the quality. They are also warm but don't feel too heavy. Great product!Edit, five years later: Still love them. Still soft and warm. Still don't want to get out of bed.
