Are these definately inset door hinges as the video shows full overlay hinges

That sounds a bit of a contradiction! Overlay doors fit on the outside of the frame like kitchen cupboard doors. These hinges are used to fit the door in alignment with the level of the frame. In other words the doors are therefore inset, within the frame, so that the outside surface of the door is flush with the surface of the frame.

I need to replace hafele soft close 95 degree 40mm cup 24mm door thickness, can you advise suitable replacement?

Don't think this is quite the right size for you but they did the job for me perfectly. About this item Cup size: 35mm*11.5mm, Cup deep: 11.5mm, Hole centres of hinge cup: 45mm. Range for door thickness:14-22mm

What is the depth required for the part which goes on the frame?

Hi, the product Cup deep: 11.5mm,Range for door thickness:14-22mm,please contact us again if there is any further question

Will these fit the ikea besta doors ?

Don't even go there! All IKEA stuff is unique to IKEA and almost none of their stuff works with her fittings. Go to IKEA spares in store for guidance.
