Plug Uglies

Great read just like all Howie's books. Too many pictures in this one and some of the reports were hard to see on a kindle.

Great book! I thought it was only going to be pictures however there is a fantastic storyline.

The content of the book was good. The pictures of the rap sheets, etc. and headlines of newspapers could not be read. Too light in color and this was about 50% of the book. Would not buy a kindle version again.

I have an interest in the subject matter, in that sense, very good. Writing style is somewhat weak and scattered. Filled with pictures to compensate for the lack of substance. Quick shipping

Howie Carr just trying to take your money. Absolutly horrible writing, jumps all over the place and he has no direction. The hardest part of this book is finding the new stories he said are in here. Bad, don't buy. If you have already read any of his books you have all you need and this book will bring you nothing more.

The book was very entertaining and informative. It was very enlightening for anyone who may be living in the area.

The characters in this book have all died or at least most of them and the ones that died did so at a very young age. A well documented book and howie did it again.

By far one of the best Boston organized crime books published. I thought I've seen all Boston OC pics but was greatly surprised by my assumption. The new pics posted are must seen for any mob buff
