Does what it's supposed to do
I have a 24x36 Morton building/pole building. No interior walls, no insulation. Just metal walls all around and metal roof. When you walk into the building when the sun is out, it is like an oven. I can literally feel the heat radiating down from the metal roof onto my skin.I put this stuff up on the purlins running between the rafters. I didn't put any on the walls or put any insulation up. Now the temperature inside the building is the same as the outside, although I sometimes I can still feel the heat radiating through the metal walls depending on what time of day it is. This stuff is amazing! For $120 I had enough to do the entire roof and then have some left over.Like others have said, you need to have at least an inch between the barrier material and the metal for it to work.I was using 12 foot pieces I cut off the roll and stood on a scaffold and staple-gunned them to the purlins. It was easy to cut with a straight edge and a razor blade knife or even some good scissors. The material was very tough even though it looks like a big roll of aluminum foil, it doesn't crease very easily or tear easily at all. I had a couple of incidents where I was sure the material would rip but it did not. Where it went around the poles I simply used the razor blade knife to cut it out around the pole. Very easy to work with ( although in the future I think I might use 4' or 6' sheets because 12' is a little too long to handle with one person. If you install it correctly, you simply will not regret buying it. I've got two other buildings I'm going to put it in as well. I'm going to order more and put it on the walls too.

Good product
Put this up hoping to keep the garage cool. I still need to add regular insulation but this did lower the temps in the garage between 10-15 degrees on our hottest days so far this summer. Does not tear easily.

Excellent Product.
I have a 30x40 metal shop building that only had bubble rap type insulation. It was unbearable to be in during summer months. The heat radianting through the roof was insane. I purchased this product to help combat it. OMG what a difference. Each time I put up a section up I could feal a difference. My shop now feels amazing to be in on 90+ degree days. With the A/c running before it was only cool if standing in the path of air flow. Now the whole shop stays cool. Product easy to work with. Light weight but stong. Very happy with it. I also bought an air stapler to install.

Great product and great price
Started installing in my attic and almost immediately the temperature under the radiant barrier was noticeably cooler than the floor space that was not underneath it. I’m almost finished with the install now and the temperature has gone down by an estimated 10-15 degrees.Easy to install and clearly works! Worth installing.

very good, worth money and time
Excellent material, very cut and tear resistant, yet cuts very easily. Its thick and very easy to work with. 4 stars only because I dont know how much heat this cuts down on, but it seems significant enough to merit its cost and extra work on top of insulating. A surface without this is not nearly as hot as with this, and I suspect this is because the material catches and repels the heat rather than absorb and radiate it out.

Got the Radiant Barrier installed now just waiting on the summer heat
I used this to put it my attic. I put it on my rafters and I'm hoping it does the job of cutting down on the heat up there. If it works as good as it is strong it's going to do a fantastic job. This stuff is tough but cuts easy with a sharp knife or scissors, I used both. A couple of times when it wasn't exactly where I wanted it after I had already stapled it up I pulled it loose to reposition and it would pull the staple out of the truss and not rip or tare the Radiant Barrier. I marked 4 ft on every other rafter to keep it running straight and trust me if you're doing it by yourself you need to have your marks to go by because this stuff doesn't give where you put it is where it stays. it's not really hot here in Tennessee yet so I can't really tell how much it is cooling off the attic yet but I will let everyone know when we get those High summer temperatures. I called Mike and ask him a question and he actually answered his phone and answered my question that means a lot I will definitely order from this company again. I'm really impressed with the product by the durability of it and how well it looks . If it cuts back on the heat in the Attic I will probably order some & roll it out on top of my insulation to keep the heat in in the winter but I Heat with wood and I have no trouble staying warm in the winter. Usually my electric bill is around $85 in the winter when I'm using wood I can't imagine what it would be using all electric heat. My highest electric bill in the summer time it is probably around $210 and it's a 2000 square foot home so if this drops my electric bill in the summer I would be sure to let everyone know.you can do it yourself but a little help is great so If you do install this it's best to take your time and watch your step and don't step through the ceiling.

Radiant Barrier
We are in the process of installing this product in the attic of our home in FL. We only have the attached garage done so far, and plan to do the entire attic. It's easier with two people to hold the pieces in place and staple them on the bottom side of the rafters leaving an air space from the soffit to the ridge vent for the heat to escape. It looks like perforated heavy duty tin foil with fiber running through it so it does not tear easily. The temperature does feel lower when I am under it vs. when I'm just under the roof decking. We won't know the full impact, if any, until we get the entire attic done. We can only work up there a few hours in the morning before it gets too hot outside, so it's going to take us awhile.

Very strong
This is great stuff. You can staple it and pull it away from the staple and it does not rip. I am going to use it in crawl space under the floor over the insulation to stop cold air from getting thru and hopefully the mice. I had an issue over customs duties and the owner himself called me back personally to resolve the issue. great service.

Excellent radiant barrier
I used this under a new steel roof I installed on my house. Works as expected; I am very pleased with this material.

Air tight and highly flammable.
I got an opened spool which was obviously partially opened before and sloppily rolled back as can be seen on the picture. The roll size is 1.5" smaller than advertised so I am not fully confident of I got all 250ft of material I paid for.The material is highly flammable and can be ignited with a match stick and the fire spreads even in the downward direction and not only in the direction of hot toxic gas.Material has dimples that ate not penetrating the material fully and thus it stays air and watertight. See my test picture showing the material holding water in the upside down bottle for 30 minutes with no water penetration.Edit: I ended up spending an hour and 2 drill bits to make hundreds of holes in the spool to make it breathable. I would not buy it if I knew these facts.
