The glasses are absolutely beautiful, but the rims are highly susceptible to chipping. We are incredibly careful (no dishwasher- ever) with our glassware, but somehow the rims of these glasses manage to get micro chips. A great gift for the fashionable cocktail drinker!

It takes a lot to find a manhattan glass that Dean Martin might hold with two fingers while ruminating. I grow weary of martini glasses the size of dog bowls and have gone on excursions to antique stores to find the proper size. As a friend observed - such a glass is designed to slosh, requiring you to sit whilst consuming - to relax.The size is just right. The fragility is great. I appreciate that, however they may be just a tad too thin. One of my set of two is gone rather quickly.

Love these glasses. One of a kind. Not disappointed!

I bought this set of two martini glasses to replace a glass I had broken. Oddly, the set came in two different style boxes, and one glass had a noticeably heavier blue drop within the stem. The other matched the martini glasses that I already had. So I assume they came from different lots. They are hand blown, I imagine. I can live with it.

These Orreffors hand blown creations set the stage for a perfect sipping martini! When a relaxing, enjoyable cocktail is prescribed, there is no better way to present! The size is perfect for a modern, reasonably sized drink.Caution! I handle these with extreme care as they do feel fragile. I carefully hand wash without putting pressure on stem or edge of flare. That way I am assured of having longevity with these treasures.

Very pretty fragile glasses. Unfortunately one of the two we ordered was broken as it was washed for the first time. Very very delicate thin glass you need to be extremely careful handling.

These are really beautiful, really delicate glasses. We’ve been using them for years, replacing them as they’re broken. They are costly and fragile but ... sipping a martini from them is wonderful.

The Orrefors blue Intermezzo is for one drink only (well, I did put in another distinguished gin once), Bombay Sapphire Gin. I have broken two of these fabulous crystals: this time, left with two, I decided to order the twin-set—now I have four of them, rather than three. Orrefors told me that they did not coin "Intermezzo" with Ingrid Bergman's film "Intermezzo" in mind—But, I have made a connection. It is vitally important not to let this crystal martini fall over because the rim is very delicate. Should you break one, you must replace it immediately with another or two. Again, Bombay Sapphire (several products) in a blue Intermezzo glass is the perfect accompaniment to reading e. e. cummings.
