Very Solid Built! Impressed by its performance!
Ordered this fan for my PC as an exhaust fan, because I got sick of my temps creeping up when gaming for extended periods of time. This fan is a beast in more ways then one, it moves a lot of air, but with the air movement it does get ramped up on noise. If you are looking for a more quite solution then this would probably not be the fan for you. in saying that you could use this fan at lower speeds and the noise is not as noticeable. I choose to run the fan at max speed when my PC hits a certain temp threshold. i have noticed a huge difference in overall temps and heat lag on my system. It has been solid as I use my PC daily for numerous hours and has not skipped a beat, no bearing noise, or anything. I highly recommend this fan for anyone, just be aware the faster it turns the louder it will get so set your fans speeds to your liking. It is also very solid built!

Noise-free fan (Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM, High Performance Cooling Fan)
The fan is mounted on the upper left hand side, which is the top rear. (Installed today.)This is the first PC fan I installed myself. I read up on fan installation and expected that some sort of rubber vibration damping would be required. There wasn't any in the packaging, but I went ahead anyway. It turns out that nothing is needed but the four installation screws provided. I was also worries that I'd have to fit a tiny screwdriver to install the fan through the hole on the other side. It turns out that the installation screws go through the case and then into the fan. A regular Phillips screwdriver works. Experienced builders are probably laughing about all my misconceptions. They'll get another laugh because I wrote "OUT" on the side of the fan where the air blows out to avoid installing it backwards. There's a little arrow on the fan itself that points both in the airflow direction and the fan rotation direction. Most of you already knew all of this and it has nothing to do with how well the fan works.Once installed, even by someone installing their first fan, the fan runs in complete silence. This fan does not glow. It only has a four pin power connector. You won't need vibration dampening because there's no vibration to dampen. The fan comes in a high-quality brown and grey box that says "New Frame Design" that's about an inch larger than the fan on each side (for in-transit product protection.)

My personal favorite
It’s a Noctua fan at a competitive price. You get everything you can ask for. I’ve used these fans since they came out in dozens of computers.1. Reliable2. Silent3. High static pressure (replaced stock thermal right fans that came with my cooler)4. High AirflowYou can get higher performance fans from Noctua and other brands, but not for this price. Arctic fans sacrifice sound levels, and Noctua A-14 cost triple the money. If you want the most performance, go with Noctua Industrial 3000 rpm fans. Their performance far exceeds anything I’ve seen, but your system will sound like a jet engine.Overall, these fans are perfect for 90% of consumers.

A high quality fan, even for Noctua’s “low-cost” line
Even though this is Noctua’s low-cost line, this is a very nice fan. It is very quiet. It has a low running speed capability (I have mine set to start at ~200 RPM). The gap between the blade and the edge of the housing is the smallest I’ve seen - likely improves static pressure capability. The rubberized corners provide nice mechanical isolation from the metal cabinet I mounted the can on. PWM control works nicely with a 2-channel fan controller I bought on Amazon.Given the quietness, and the build quality, I’ll likely use Noctua fans for most of my future needs.

Durable fan with premium features at an affordable price.
I purchased this fan to replace a noisy case fan in my wife’s desktop PC. I chose the Noctua due to thier reputation for manufacturing robust and reliable products combined with over five years experience using heat pipe CPU coolers made by the same manufacturer. In the interest of transparency, I should also state that, after I ordered this fan, I discovered I already had an earlier model of the same fan stored in my spare parts box and subsequently returned this one. I’m confident this fan would perform equally well or better than the fans I already have in use. For a budget-friendly price, this fan comes with features usually found only in premium offerings. The frame is robust with thick, support ribs where the mounting holes are located; built in PWM speed control circuitry, specially engineered fan blades that reduce wind noise, vibration damping silicon strips along the mounting edges of the frame, and a top speed of 1700 RPM.

Great fan!
No owl sticker :( Fan works great! Uses less power to keep my PC cooler.

Excellent value, lasting me 4 years and counting
I use this as my 120mm radiator exhaust fan and it works great with a temperature curve. Temperature goes up, fan speed goes up so the fan doesnt run full power and full noise all the time. Even still, can't hear it below 75% which is awesome. Its been running strong for 4 years now.

Noctua NF-P12 redux 1700 PWM fan
Added this fan to my wife's case. Doesn't have lights, but we didn't need lights. It is a 4 pin fan. You can adjust the speed via the motherboard. Cable length is just right. I have no vibration in this. Built really well. Cools really nice.
