Dehumidifier

I should have added a review sooner, but life doesn't stop for anyone. Anyway I live in Illinois on the 3rd floor of a downtown apartment, yes that matters in this review. Being in a apartment, downtown and in Illinois it gets HOT and humid! A few weeks ago during one of the heat waves temp was 105 with a high humidity! With this product my bedroom felt great, perfect, no humidity at all and for the ones who don't know if it's humid it feels hotter! On the same day, and a larger different brand dehumidifier in my living room wasn't much if any help! I love how big it is, sits perfectly on my nightstand. And it's quite, can't hear it, which is great because it's next to my head at night. Hope this review helps anyone looking to by one, this one is perfect!

Well... This thing does not work as expected. I mean, it says "1000 sq ft", but as other reviews state, not even close to that. I placed in my bedroom (~270 sqft) so this should have worked flawlessly... But no. The water tank barely collected water in one week working non-stop 24-7, and humidity was still the same. I had to buy a bigger dehumidifier. Worst thing, I placed into my closet (~35 sqft, yes, 35) expecting that at least it will control humidity there... Same thing. It required help from the bigger dehumidifier. After reducing humidity in my closet to 45% with the help of the bigger dehumidifier, this device is "trying" to control it. After 1 week working non-stop humidity is around 48%. So eventually I will need to use the bigger one again. The water tank has never reached its maximum level and it has been more than 2 weeks non-stop. I didn't return it because Amazon offered a partial refund if keeping it, but I regret my decision. Not recommended. Invest in something bigger and better.

Smaller than I thought it would be. Very effective and quiet! I ran a humidity sensor in the same room and it was super efficient in a short amount of time. The collection bin is super easy to empty and clean. I would buy again

We keep ours in the basement and it does a very good job. I have to go down once a week to empty the container if we have had a lot of rain. Takes less than 5 minutes to empty and restart. The basement does smell a little less damp also.

Affordable but maybe not the best durability. After a few months this barely fell over and the whole thing stopped working. I will find something more stable and hardy to replace it.

I bought two and was impressed with the quality, but didn't find them to be very quiet! There's no difference in the sound of the motor between the regular Power ON and the night mode! That was disappointing as I wanted one for my bedroom. We've been at 73% humidity in the house and it's pulled a fair amount of water, enough so it's comfortable. If you don't mind "white noise", they're great!

I have use this dehumidifier for 3 months now on a small closet. It is does a very poor job of removing humidity from the air. It is noisy and the water reservoir is difficult to empty. I do not recommend it for any use. The low price tempting but I recommend spending more and get one that works.

Works great in the room with an indoor spa! Would definitely recommend!
