I purchases these to accompany my son's new microscope. I must say, I enjoy them as well. The case is pretty sturdy, and the slides are clearly labeled. There's also a few blanks, so that you can place your own specimens. Very good quality.

Nice slides, good variety of things to view, slides are a good size, they are glass not cheap plastic so they work well, and are a good value for the money.

You get a wide variety of well-stained subjects for the money. Some of the plant stem cross sections are quite beautiful although they start to become repetitive when you go through all of them. There were only a few slides that weren't good. However, I discovered that these slides appear to have thicker cover glass than another more expensive set of prepared slides I own and this prevents achieving a clear focus at high power such as 600X or 1000X oil immersion where the objective lens has to come extremely close to the specimen. Most but not all of these slides are unusable at these higher magnifications. My other slide set is the C & A Scientific PS02 which I would recommend for high magnification viewing. Otherwise, these Lakwar slides are just fine.

These were a gift for my friends 9 year old son who is fascinated by medical science. I gave them these to view in his microscope.

Packaged well. Glass slides are are done well. Happy with this product

these are super fun. I've spent hours looking through them. some of them are like artwork. And this may be a minor thing, but the box they come in is pretty nice.

This is exactly what I needed to investigate pond life at a microscopic level.
