Got this for my husband who can fit what he needs for a week trip just fine. It’s a little too small for my needs, but I’m tempted to learn to travel with less bc this bag is so lightweight, rolls so smoothly, and fits so easily in the overhead. Last trip, hubby wheeled my older Travelpro and I wheeled this. A couple of reviews complaint that it rolls too well and out of control. While it’s true that it will keep rolling if you let go, it stops easily if you rotate the suitcase. Sturdy construction, nice color. Waterproof insert for cosmetics or wets. Definitely on the spendier end for us, but it should last many years as have all our other Travelpro suitcases.

Only one negative - and it is more of an amusement and easily dealt with - so I'll get that out of the way first. The spinners on this luggage are so smooth (a positive not a negative) that if the bag is on anything other than level ground it might roll away from you, so keep your eye on it, or a hand on the handle. Otherwise ... there goes your luggage! I set it aside when unloading at the hotel to get another piece of luggage from the trunk of the car and when I turned around, it was rolling away from me! I had to run after it before it went in the street. Yes, that can be an issue, but easily solved. Keep an eye on your luggage which you should do anyway. Now for the good stuff!This carry on luggage is so easy to pack, so easy to handle and move with in the airport, and is incredibly well designed. One can imagine the thought that went into designing the compartments, and the features that we all want as travelers. I particularly like the storage area for a battery pack to charge my iPhone, laptop and AirPods. Never a need to look for an outlet and super convenient. The garment bag is also well thought out with a built in padded bar that helps you fold the bag for a perfect fit on the bottom of the luggage whichdoubles as a way to pad the bottom where the suitcase's handle bars are located. Durable, good looking and functional. There's a reason why this luggage was top-rated for value and function on NYTimes Wirecutter. You won't regret choosing this for your upcoming travel.

This is the best carry on bag I have ever owned and used. The dimensions are PERFECT for a carry on, and it fits within current carry on regulations.I like this even more than the Away hard shell luggage I tried. I found the Away luggage much harder to use. You have to place the Away luggage on a large flat surface so you can open the whole thing. The Away luggage hard shell also makes zipping up the luggage a bit more awkward. I love that you can place the Travelpro on a chair, desk, etc. and open it up easily.I also purchased this to replace a previous Samsonite carry on spinner. Samsonite is the worst, they do not back up or stand behind their products at all. A wheel broke (this luggage was only used as a carry on), and Samsonite refused to fix it. They claimed we abused the luggage. We will NEVER purchase Samsonite again, I refuse to support companies who don't stand behind their products.Upside* The smoothest rolling I have ever felt - the magnetic wheels help you luggage glide gracefully and straight across ay path* LIFETIME Warranty!! (this applies even if it's the airline's fault) - note warranty policies change, it was lifetime for me, but triple check before you purchase* Zippers are smooth as SILK!* Great construction quality, I don't expect this to ever break* The handle is solid, yet not too large, and travels up and down the side of the suitcase very easily* Lots of various compartments that are thoughtfully placed* Option to use your own power bank if you choose to* Lots of room inside to pack various items - space is not wasted with this bag!* Waterproof toiletry bag that you can remove if you want to save space* Integrated garment bag to help keep clothes wrinkle free; you can remove if you want to save spaceDownside* Cost - this will cost more than a lot of luggage you see out there; on the order of 2x - 4x what you may pay for something else* While this is technically the legal carry one size, I've seen people take larger bags onto airplanes (I find this rude and annoying as they take up all the overhead space, but don't get me started)Save yourself the headache of broken luggage. Bought a hardshell Samsonite first but the quality just was not there. This spinner is awesome! Terrific high quality materials, rugged substantial zippers and wheels. Used for a 10 day trip to Belize and it fit absolutely everything I needed for the whole trip! The included battery compartment was extremely useful as was the expandability. Fit perfectly in the overhead bins, sailed through customs with the zip out, clear cosmetic bag. Wheels roll perfectly. The interior is huge and if you pack smartly, you can really jam a ton of stuff in this bag. I will never check another giant suitcase again. Additionally, the spinner looks and feels like a million bucks. Very happy with my purchase!!

After conducting research and testing numerous carry-on suitcases across all price points, I am very pleased I purchased this Travelpro. The interior design allows for easy packing. The wheels are excellent across a variety of surfaces. The lightweight feature makes this bag easy to load into an overhead bin. The exterior material is durable and looks good after traveling. I highly recommend this suitcase.

Such a greatly crafted bag. Solid durable wheels with a great tote bag for suits/dresses to ensure easy removal. Love the charging port and design of storage to ensure I maximize my space for travelling.
