Please please buy this book if you have a child who isn't communication, talking, interacting, speech delay, possible autism... It has saved my life! I have gone from a none verbal two year old to a little girl who can tell me verbally exactly what she wants! What is truly great about this book is it explains things in simple form, gives so many examples all of which are totally relatable! If you are a parent like me who is worried sick about autism, speech delay and has a little child who is getting more and more angry at the world because they can't communicate then GET THIS BOOK! it has changed our family's life. The best book I have ever read, worth every single penny and more! I am not degree educated, I am a parent and this book is my saviour, no need for speech therapy, get this book!

This book is so so helpful...really practical no Mumbo jumbo gives you really practical tips about the different phases of autisum.I was lent this book by a speech therapist.It is quite expensive but brilliant I would very highly recommend it.I had been looking at it but the price was a bit much but when I seen it at this price I jumped for it .

This is going to help me communicate with my grandson, so I am looking forward to reading it and getting the crucial insight I so desperately need to have a relationship with my grandson.

Could not recomend this book highly enough.I bought it when my Son was put on the ASD pathway.I didn't know where to start in terms of trying to get communication from him.My Son is non verbal but this book helped me to find ways to get us to communicate better with each other.He is now useing a combination of Makaton and pics.Thanks to this brilliant book I can now figure out where he struggles and what motivates him and how to use play to connect , teach and comunicate with him.

needed the book as my boy has autism! I think the book itself is expensive but this was the cheapest I found it.

explains a lot but it is quite an expensive resource.

Easy to read but rather repetitive. Main problem with information/ guidance is that autism presents itself in so many different ways & so only a limited parts of the book were helpful to our family.The book is primarily of use to parents of pre- school children.
