Excellent hula hoop, great for home exercise.

I like running but I've been looking for a gentler form of exercise of late, so I bought this. I thought I could spend 10 minutes a day twiddling it round my hips whilst watching TV, and in a few weeks be able to claim my toned abs and whittled waist. I confidently went for the heaviest one because I'm fairly fit. I underestimated the hoop! It doesn't come with any instructions (yeah, OK, it's a hula hoop not a rocket ship, but still...) but it was straightforward enough to put together. Once it was assembled, it took me a few attempts to get it going, but once I got the hang of it, it was all good - but surprisingly tiring! It's quite big, so you need a fair bit of space to hoop. You'll get sweaty, so wear gym gear. For goodness sake don't do what I did and wear dungarees with metal buttons on the hips - you'll get bruised! Wear shoes - if you're like me, you'll drop it a few times while you're getting the hang of it, and even though it's nicely cushioned, you probably don't want to be dropping it on your toes. I managed about ten minutes of hooping on my first attempt before I was shattered - it really is an intensive workout! The next day, the muscles in my abdomen and back were aching. I'm really impressed with this. I went for this brand, because it was a good price - some weighted hoops are really expensive. I like the fact that it can be disassembled when not in use. I'm glad I bought this - it's a quick, easy and fun way to exercise, but it's also quite challenging. Recommended.

Easy to scratch but good weight to it and quality is good too

I am over the moon with my hoop. It arrived within 2 days of ordering, didn't have time to play in the morning but when I returned from the gym I was straight into the garden to practice. At first I struggled to get use to it, struggled to keep the hoop up, practice makes perfect thou! The following day, day 3.... ouch the bruising had come out, so that meant a day of rest! Day 7 and I'm now use to it and spent a good hour in the garden today. My waist feels tighter and balance is alot better, however today the hoop feels light, guessing mt core is adapting to it!..... May consider ordering the next level by the of the month.For storage it's great not that I've put it back in the box since it arrived, but my gym has agreed that I can take it there so I will benefit from it even more during the winter months that are looming!Overall I am very pleased, the product is very well made! :)

It assembled so easily and perfectly. I bought the 1.5kg and I think this is the perfect starting weight for me. At first it seemed lighter than I had expected, but once I had it spinning on me, I was grateful I didnt go above. I havent hula hooped since I was a teen, 35 years I can still do it but nowhere near as long cos it hurts! However my 18yr old son used it and was spinning for well over 5 mins and he agreed it will leave a few bruises, but the body will get used to it. Its sturdy and nicely padded. Im going to enjoy using it even more once I no longer feel the pain. I definitely recommend!

Iv been going to power hooping classes, but the hoops cost £65 to buy there! Saw this on Amazon, bought it, using it, and loving it!! Had to take one band out as was just a wee bit big for me, but great hoop. Does hurt when you first start, and got some lovely bruises especially my shins where I have dropped a few times. They say no pain no gain, and really this is well worth it. Dont go to classes anymore, saving myself a fiver each time, and hooping every day at home now for 5-10 minutes and really noticing a difference in my waist. Quite impressed I can hoop actually, but told to put one foot forward and thrust, not swing your hips, then change footing to hoop the other way too. Do recommend and very pleased so far!

Bought this as a beginner; however the diameter is wide and needs quite a bit of room before I got used to it. Used it in the garden and the first time it fell too the floor the foam ripped. Be careful whete you use it.

Easy to assemble. Took a few attempts to get the hang of the weighted hoop. Now I can hula hoop for 3 mins clockwise & anticlockwise without stopping. Bruising feeling around midrif goes. Good product no problems.

Toller Reifen, sehr gut verarbeitet. Einfach Klasse. Bin sehr zufrieden. Leicht zum zusammenstecken.

Muy divertido. Las primeras veces causa hematomas y dolor leve,pero era algo que ya sabía que pasaría. En unos días de práctica (días alternos y pocos minutos al principio) el cuerpo se acostumbra al peso y los hematomas no vuelven a aparecer. Es un ejercicio muy divertido. En cuanto a la calidad del aro, no es un material muy resistente. A las dos semanas de usarlo ya tenía algunas grietas en la espuma exterior. Por ahora resiste, pero por su precio esperaba más calidad. Que sea desmontable es estupendo si vas a hacer mudanza pero en general lo tengo siempre montado porque no me fío de que aguante que lo esté montando y desmontando.

Je débute en hula hoop et c'est le deuxième cerceau que j'achète (le premier étant un hoop avec boules magnétiques qui m'a fait des hématomes...).Celui-ci est parfait pour celle qui veut faire du sport à la maison et gainer sa ceinture abdominale entre autre. Je fais 1.60 m pour 60 Kg et le poids de 1.2 kg me convient parfaitement.Il est très facile à monter avec le système de "clic" et ne se détache plus du tout après.On est très vite à l'aise avec. Il est enrobé de mousse qui amortit les petits chocs que l'on peut ressentir au passage des "bosses" incluses à l'intérieur du cercle. J'en fais tous les jours avec des périodes de 10 mn au moins non stop devant la télé quand il fait froid ou dehors avec la musique. Je ne peux plus m'en passer. J'en fais depuis seulement 1 mois et demi et suis déjà très à l'aise avec (je peux marcher en avant, en arrière et tourner dedans). Bien sûr, c'est un hoop fitness c'est-à-dire qu'il est fait pour l'entraînement sportif (on ne peut pas faire de hoop dance avec car il est trop lourd).Voilà, achetez-le les yeux fermés, je le recommande vivement.

Hatten zuerst einen Reifen mit 1.2 kg und wollten nun mit dem Gewicht etwas nach oben gehen..Der Reifen ist ideal. Teile passen perfekt zusammen und wenn mal nicht gebraucht wird könnte dieset auch wiedet in seine einzelnen Teile zerlegt werden. Mechanismus rastet perfekt ein und es wackelt nichts
