Great Ideas for when doctor is near.
Camping or far from any health care walk in clinic, these ideas will help the injured until help arrives or the injured party can be transported to a facility for care.

GREAT BOOK with a really strange title..
I am a retired military guy and combat veteran, familiar with many First Aid books, procedures, and styles. Back in my day in Viet Nam we called our green duct-tape-on-steroids "100-mile-an-hour tape" and used it for everything from repairing our canvas bags and tents to taping over bullet holes on our helicopter rotor blades.. In critical times, this type of tape was successfully used in many medical emergencies, to include covering sucking chest wounds to prevent lungs from further collapsing, or stabilizing fractures on the field of battle.DUCT TAPE 911 is a long overdue book, written by "The Survival Doctor", a qualified medical doctor, who specializes in teaching others various medical procedures to better survive in remote areas away from medical facilities. I found this to be an excellent book, using a large font, that is very easy to read and understand.. It is a relatively short book of only about 100 printed pages, written in laymen's terms, and liberally sprinkled with excellent hand-drawn pictures of the procedure being discussed. My only complaint regarding this book is that with the hand-drawn pictures it is sometimes difficult to see the specific points being discussed. This is primarily due to the fact that my old eyes have a real problem seeing all the very-lightly-drawn lines in the pictures. I would much prefer that the drawings be much more pronounced and easier to view in detail without straining my eyes to do so. Otherwise the drawings are quite good, and easy to understand. That one point aside, I highly recommend this book to anyone who has any use whatsoever for keeping a First Aid Kit, medical bag, or plans to venture into the great outdoors where medical help may be sparse. There are a number of outside-the-box "fixes" in this book that most folks will view and say to themselves, "Why didn't I think of that..??"I found this to be a very informative book, written in easily understood terms, for medical emergencies that one could expect to encounter away from medical facilities. It measures about 6" x 9" x 3/8" and can easily fit into many 1st Aid kits. I highly recommend this book for novices and the experienced. I will probably purchase more so as to have one in each of my medical bags, kits, packs, and vehicles. It is certainly a book that others should consider buying..

Very basic knowledge.
It has a lot of common sense knowledge that is great if you are a Boy Scout. It’s not what I was expecting based on other reviews but it does have some thing to offer your basic skills library.

A lot of ideas for emergency medical use of duct tape, but nothing I couldn't think of myself. This is good for someone with little-none first aid training as it illustrates how to apply first aid type splints, supports and such to various injuries. If you don't already know proper bandaging techniques, you'll probably love this book.

Useful hacks that anyone will want to know, all described in short, clear ways.
Clear descriptions of some very clever ways to use duct tape in a pinch, including some valuable first aid hacks. Organized in manual format for quick reference, but also a quick front-to-back read if you want. If you do not have a roll of duct tape in you tool kit, household storage, and car you probably will after thumbing through this useful book. And you should!

Expands Your Views On How To Do Things.
A must have if you want to be prepared for much with very little. I recommend you practice each as they are more tricky than you think. The book takes you beyond the subject as you begin to realize how many things you think can only server one purpose. It is a pragmatic example of out of the box thinking that is very needed in our "One tool for one job" thinking.

A funny book on the many creative uses of duct tape in the pre hospital field. May try some of these with my EMT students at some time in class to get their views. Book kinda pricey for the 103 pages.

Price a little high for what it is
An interesting little book, but just a little thin paperback book. Suitable for adding to the camping or emergency box. But a bit too pricey for what it is.

Cinta "sanitaria"
