very well done in the primal post impressionist mode. My only negative(if you wish to call it that) is that the artist not stretch the canvas so tight before painting in oil. As the oil cures it shrinks the canvas;ending up with a slight warp in the frame. No big deal. A velcro strip under one side, and the canvas is flush. Small price to pay for a real oil painting!

being freshly painted and wrapped very tightly. There were some plastic marks left on the fresh paint. Otherwise, It is a decent copy of the original except for the tree is much taller.

Non vi è armonia fra i colori, i quali non rispecchiano per nulla la realtà; non si è stati in grado di riprodurre l’armosfera notturna di questa splendida opera di Van Gogh. Non mi aspettavo di certo l’originale! Ma sono rimasta ugualmente molto delusa. Sarebbe stato meglio acquistare una buona stampa. Nelle foto, vi posto l’opera reale e quella acquistata su Amazon: valutate voi. P.S. Sugli alberi vi sono delle orribili croste di colore

I gave this three stars as although it's hand painted, accuracy unfortunately is going to be an issue. I felt it was quite a way off and the brush strokes ere not as smooth and blended, however, it is colorful and hand painted then you're probably fine with this for the price. I was disappointed with the frame which was so narrow that it seemed the painting was flat against the wall. I will purchase a frame so it will give some depth to the painting. "Starrry Night" was painted while Van Gogh was in the assylum looking out as the dawn was approaching.To be fair anyone attempting to hand paint a Van Gogh certainly deserves some koodoo's. It depend what your looking for will depend on whether you will be happy with this painting. Personally I prefer the stretched canvas versions, however, they are generally more expensive and a hand painted version can grow on you!Dianne, CANADA Update: after viewing other versions of this painting it is a poor rendition of others; way too much white on it, the one I received did not even look like the one aside the review. I would not recommend this product. Very poorly done. I would suggest a wrapped canvas of the original. I have two, they were more expensive, however a pleasure to look at. Would not recommend any hand painted VAN GOGH , unless the painter is able to attain at least a reasonable degree of accuracy to the original. The one I received fell very short, thus the one star rating. Since there are various painters doing a version of the same picture, there is no consistency in the painted picture you will receive, thus the one star rating for the one I received, I cannot recommend this painting.
