This line of soaps is so great for anyone who doesn't want alcohol or phenoxyethanol in their personal care products. Read the labels - there's nothing there you can't pronounce. Its' good value for the money and the fragrances are fabulous. The rosemary mint that I use is a perfectly good scent even for a man to use - it's not too flowery. But if you like flowery, there's a honeysuckle version. The body wash is great, the hand soaps are great. You will love these products.

Cheaper than Aveda and smells better too. This is a nice refreshing clean scent - good for women and men. The price is good but I got slapped with a hefty s&h fee - so I probably wont order again. I bought this on amazon because I was too lazy to go to the store and get it and I was ordering other things anyway. I'm a prime member, but didn't realize this wasn't prime eligible. So what seemed like a good deal (several bucks cheaper than in the store) was not really a deal at all after shipping. You can usually find this at places like whole foods and other stores that sell natural products.

This is an amazing scent. Very refreshing and clean smelling. As for the soap, it washes quickly and well. My guests love it too and always want to know where they can purchase it. What I don't like about this product is the really cheap plastic container that it's in. After several squirts the plastic compresses and does not fill out as the bottle empties. I have purchased the same product in my coop in a push down dispenser that is far better and sturdier. I will not purchase this item from Amazon again unless they have a different dispenser then this one. However, it is worth buying the soap and putting it in your own container.There, problem solved.

I really like mint scented liquid soaps. Tried this one because it's not as pricey as the one I'm currently using (Hempz Rosemary/Mint), and because it is from France. In retrospect I can't imagine why France mattered since every time I've been to France good smelling people were not among the attractions. I was also swayed by the reviews, but I can't imagine now why so many said this was minty. Maybe these are people are really don't like minty scents? This stuff may as well be labelled as scent-free. It doesn't smell minty while you are using it and your skin has a very, very slight odor of generic bath soap when you step out of the shower. As a generic liquid soap it is just fine, but that doesn't make it worth the premium over your basic drug store variety. If you are looking for a wake-me-up minty smell and a great liquid soap try Hempz Rosemary and Mint. It costs a little more, but it IS worth it.

Years ago, I was given some Aveda Rosemary Mint soap, and was hooked on the smell. Subsequently, I bought the Aveda bath gel and loved it. However, the last time I went to order it in the 32 oz size, it had almost tripled in price, and I just couldn't bring myself to pay that much for it. In the meantime, I've used Caswell Massey Almond and Aloe bath soap, which is good, but I like rosemary mint better. So, based on the reviews, especially the one that said it smelled even better than Aveda's, I decided to try this.I have already returned this for two reasons. (1) This does not smell like rosemary mint. Just to make sure it wasn't me, I had my husband smell it and we both agreed that it smells more like the pine scents you smell around Christmas. (2) This is not a gel. Rather, it's watery, and is more like hand soap. Actually, if it had smelled more like rosemary mint, I wouldn't have minded the consistency.Sadly, my quest for a good rosemary mint bath wash will have to continue, because I cannot recommend this at all. If you want a soap with a nice pine scent, this might work for you.

I love all A La Maison Products! Ordering this had me a bit scared though because one of the reviews said they were using all kinds of new chemicals in it. No they weren’t! There is nothing you can’t look up and find that it is a derivative from plantlife. And a few people were disappointed in the smell, I totally am not! It smells so fresh and yummy like rosemary!

Smells great- can't wait to use it. Unfortunately, the packaging allowed 1/3 of the product to leak onto the shipping envelopes...
