Great for small amounts of yarn. BUT the much larger amounts AND ability to identify the yarn number has to be over several pegs or back in yarn bag! It does hold yarn pieces securely with labels easy to see.

I really like having this to use to organize my threads. I made a copy of the symbols that were in the kit that would fit in the organizer. Now I just have to look in one place to get my neat and orderly threads when I am working my complex project.

This product kept the floss for my large project separated and easily available. However, I found it almost impossible to make a needle stand up like the picture shows. I can put a needle in sideways but then the floss isn't above the color.I also own an older model which has paper strips that allow you to add the project symbols.

I will use this for the thread for my ongoing cross stitch project.

It certainly helps me keep from getting up to find a color I need but... the thread prongs are not the best. They are hard for me to get my fingers around to manipulate the thread on the platform. Tangles sometimes. The needles do not stick down very easily into the thin layer of foam. I guess you get what you pay for.

I am very disappointed in this product! The spikes for floss are very thin and it is very difficult to remove or place floss on them. The paper sliders that comes with the product, are made of very thin paper and when you slide back it bends. Plus, the area on the paper slider, where you write the symbols are very small and very difficult to write. Also, the windows to display the symbols once you slide it in dose not Aline properly.No returns! The proprietor will be haggling with you if you want to return the product. I am up to 40% off on the next purchase and I can keep the item. Why would I want to do that?

Cheap plastic, but it will get the job done. I bought 3, for several large projects.
