Travelon Anti-theft Signature Slim Day Bag, Black

Exactly as described. Replacement of an older version. I chose the black in colour which is very inconspicuous for any savvy traveler. The bag is small thus does not draw unwanted attention in public nor did it stand out in our family photographs. I wore it across my body for extended periods of time on both sides of my body during a family holiday at times we happened to be amongst crowds in close proximity and I was not uncomfortable. The feature I found/find most beneficial in my opinion is the locks in place for the zippers rendering all stays securely kept closed and in place during movement as well as the solid adjustable strap. The material did bead water as we were caught in a downpour of rain. We do not leave our phablets, jewelry or financial anything in our chosen Hotel rooms unaccompanied no matter where we travel. Very pleased with the overall performance, look, functionality and comfort of the product. Performed and proved an excellent choice and I would purchase again and recommend to any. Thank you.

Like you, I researched a lot for THE purse to carry with me on a several week, active trip. This purse fit the bill. It was lightweight, could carry everything I needed for the day: passport, money, large smart phone, credit cards, 2-3 pair of glasses, lipstick, small sunscreen tubes, and tissues with some room to spare. It has organized compartments so I could easily access what I needed. I originally wanted black, but this neutral grey was actually better because it made it a bit dressier. I strongly recommend if you're travelling as the zippers, straps, and quality of materials were impressive.

This is my 5th Travelon item I have bought. So, to say I really like the brand it a bit of an understatement. I wanted a small purse for my last cruise. I wanted to be able to carry my Canon SX720 HS(yes, I still like taking pictures with a camera), my cell phone, ID, cash and some personal items both on and off the ship. This worked great without being overstuffed and I had quick, easy access to everything I needed. I will say I did look at other purses that had really cute designs, most if not all of Travelon designs are plain, but I keep coming back to Travelon because I like the security of the product. When I travel I don't want to have to worry about someone unzipping my purse and stealing all my cash while I sightseeing.

Pros: I was excited for this bag. I bought it for a 3 week long Europe trip, and it met my expectations in terms of safety, and I loved the credit card holders inside the bag. I stuck my passport in the back pocket and it fit just right. I was able to fit my sunglasses, a small water bottle and all of my money and toiletries perfectly.Cons: I was disappointed with the middle pocket that doesn’t have a zipper. After a couple uses it just started hanging open. It was convenient to put my phone in, but because the pocket didn’t sit closed against the bag itself, my phone was just out in the open for people to grab (thankfully that didn’t happen though).The material is also not something I would want in a purse. Mine got stained pretty easily and it just looks frumpy now, kind of crumpled and sagging. The straps were also super annoying, the strap that is supposed to sit underneath the top one kept getting loose and sticking out on my shoulder above the top strap. I’d adjust it and move the little clip around to try to make it stay put and it would just slide back out again, it was a bit annoying having to adjust it all the time.Overall, it’s a convenient useful bag, but not one that I would use regularly.

I purchased this purse 3 years ago for a business trip to China. It’s comfortable and convenient wearing as a crossbody so that there are no worries about it sliding off your shoulder. It has several compartments making it easier to keep up with individual items for quick access. I like the purse so much that I have been using it daily since my trip. I particularly like the metal clips and loops to secure the zippers.

I purchased this before going over to Europe. It fit everything I needed and still had room for a few small trinkets I picked up in the shops. I was able to comfortably wear it under my jacket while walking around for more protection without it being immediately noticed, which was nice. I went through five different airport security check points without any issue. It is very simple and sleek. It held up in the rainy weather and I love the blue color on the interior as it made things easier to view. It is well worth the price and recommend it to anyone traveling or that may be looking for a bit more security in their everyday life.

I took this on a trip to Banff Natl Park in Canada. Love the length of the strap: hangs low enough on my hip wearing it crossbody that it's easy to open and looks good. Perfect for my passport, credit cards, boarding passes, and Samsung S8 active phone. Inside is lined with a pretty real color. Even the small light included came in handy on the plane. I like the zipper closures that clip into a ring so I know the zipper won't accidentally open or won't be opened without my knowledge. It was the perfect size for my trip, kept my hands free, and kept my valuables safe. It help up well on my 8 day trip.

This bag is my new favorite travel bag! I bought the black version - it has a blue interior.The bag is light weight and just the right size to hold my wallet, sunglasses, phone, tissues, chapsticks, a paperback novel and other small essentials. The strap is thick enough to not dig into your shoulder but slim enough to not look like an "old lady utility bag" (no disrespect to old ladies - you're all awesome). I like that it's not bulky like a lot of travel bags and the style transitions nicely from day to night, which is def. what you want when you're packing light.There are two zip pockets and RFID sleeves to hold your cards and passport in the interior, two zip pockets on the exterior (one of which "locks"), and an exterior sleeve that's handy for placing your boarding pass. There's an attached key holder with a wee LED flashlight in the interior - I attach it to my travel wallet and my keys. The hardware is solid without looking too bulky, and the outer material is waterproof. The inner lining is made of some sort of slippy material that makes it easy to clean and to dump out the purse crud that inevitably accumulates at the bottom of one's bag.I highly recommend this practical and versitile bag!

This bag is great so long as you know what you want it for. It is very small, so for me it is not big enough if I was out for the day. But the trip I bought this for was partly a mini-bus tour where I had my larger backpack in the bus with my water, snack, jumper etc. Then I'd use this when we got off the bus and I just wanted something to put my wallet, phone, sunnies and a couple of other little things in. For that it was perfect, as it was lightweight, secure and left my hands free for any activities.
