I do love it but I had some issues.
First of all, it is beautiful, but mine doesn't hang straight. That could be operator error or it could be, as so many other reviewers have mentioned, it isn't actually symmetrical in the first place. Mine hangs straighter than others I've seen so I'm grateful for that. I also had some hanging issues that may have caused mine not to hang straight, too, so there's that. The day it came, I was SO excited! I couldn't WAIT to hang it up and get all my spices up on it! I held it up to the wall, made my marks, and drilled the holes. I didn't know what size drill bit to use so I came back to this page and looked in the question section and a few people said to use a 1/4 inch drill bit. I didn't have that, the largest I had was 3/16" so I used that. It did NOT work! The screws wouldn't go in with a screwdriver so I tried to use an electric drill on them, three, to be exact. Each one did the same- the drywall anchor started to spin and just twisted up on the screws. Okay, operator error there. They pulled right out of the wall so then I had a new problem- which size anchors and screws to buy now that I had botched the whole operation? The cute little 20ish-year-old girl in the screw department at Menards suggested I go one size bigger, to 5/16", so I did. Some looked smaller than others and some looked huge. I was afraid the screws wouldn't fit through the holes on the spice rack. I got them home and tested them and it was quite a tight fit, so much so that I had to actually screw a few to get them through the holes. If you don't already know, this is a bad situation to be in. The holes must be PERFECTLY drilled in the right spots, AND straight in to make a situation like this work out in your favor. I was lucky.I'm normally pretty particular about symmetry but I was so happy just to get it on the wall, I think most of that expectation was tempered by the joy that it was up at all. Don't get me wrong, it isn't off by much at all, and the end that is off could be because on the fourth screw, I missed the anchor entirely (I was doing this alone and the other three screws weren't screwed in tight enough to hold it, they were all SUPER loose, in stripped holes) and screwed the screw straight into the drywall, making that hole bigger when I pulled out the anchor there. As for the integrity of the symmetry of spice shelf though, it's still not good. The bands that wrap around (the strips on the front that hold the spices in) do not meet evenly in the back. The strips are obviously higher and lower in places and none are consistent. I can see where some people had to bend theirs in the front to make it look straight but I didn't bother, mine were close enough. The other issue I had was that I thought my bigger spice jars would fit (I can read, and I knew they would be tight at a shade over 5 1/4" but other reviewer photos are deceitful). They do, but I can't get them out without taking out three other spices to make room to tilt the taller ones far enough to retrieve them. Oh sure, you can get 'em in there, but you can't take them out without a fight, nor return them to their designated spot, even WITH the moving of others and the tilting. I bought this on Prime Day so I got it for nearly $9 cheaper than it's showing now but I paid $8 for extra hardware and $15 for spice jars that fit just so I could use this shelf without the constant aggravation of fighting with it to get my bigger spices in and out.I can't say I'm sorry, it does look lovely, even if it is a bit crooked and the huge holes in my drywall will certainly be a problem when I move out of this rented apartment (again, because of my using the wrong size drill bit and having to replace the anchors and screws with larger ones). It does hold quite a few spice jars and I do think most of the hanging problems I had were my own fault. That said, this was one of the more expensive ones, even with the Prime Day discount. I chose this one over the WAY cheaper ones that come as a set of three or four independently-hanging shelves because I didn't want to deal with trying to get them all symmetrical to each other. Had I known, however, the issues I would have with this one, I could have gotten those, saved a TON of money, and arranged them in such a way that I wouldn't have needed to buy spice jars separately to make my bigger spices fit.Another thing that NO ONE mentioned, is that on regular-sized spice jars, (the ones that DO fit) the label is COMPLETELY hidden by the location of the front bar. So on the spice jars I already had that did fit, I had to put masking tape labels on almost all of them to see the name of the spice without having to pick each one up to find the one I want. I don't want to sound like I'm hating it, I don't, but I COULD have paid $16 for a set of independent shelves, skipped the extra cost of the smaller spice jars (what am I going to do with all the big ones that didn't fit and aren't empty now?), and I don't think the symmetry would have been as big of an issue as all this hassle has been just to have one big shelf that still isn't symmetrical. If you're looking for beauty and conformity, intend to buy spice jars with lovely labels to go with this. I can't say I'm loving the look of the spice jars that did fit (without needing to be replaced) being defiled with masking tape so I could see what's in them but it is what it is. Now that I have it as good as it's going to get, I need to go find a new space to store my larger spice jars because I've already filled that cupboard space with other items.

Has held up for 2 years
Bought 2 of these 2 years ago to put on the back of a full size door into the pantry. Some additional holes had to be drilled but they are holding up fine and my spices are definitely organized now. I have not noticed any of the finish coming off.

Moved this strong rack from pantry to workshop for holding 18v batteries
Thus rack was purchased and itโs intended use was going to install in our pantry to hold cans and spice bottles. Once the rack arrived it was practically assembled out of the box. The item comes in a protective box and also includes mounting kit with wall anchors and screws. This was to be placed on a section of drywall but it was slightly larger than i expected and not a fault of the rack. Since this rack is pretty solid and has welded connections through out the rack I decided to not return the rack and use in my workshop. I have the popular brand of power tools that are yellow and black from the home improvement warehouse. My collection of 18 volt batteries range in different sizes and have over 30 batteries. My tools also have different size containers that hold bits and drivers. The shelf holds the batteries when I place them in front down and keep the power post that gots into each tool pointing outward towards me. These batteries are heaving when placed in a same rack but I have noticed no bowing or bending in the rack shelves. I have even used some S hooks to help hold additional tools of the bottom shelf.

Good for the price
Love the product it looks great on the wall, I only have a few issues with it but for the price I'm not too upset. First the wall anchors they include with the screws do not work at all, we tried drilling the screws into them and they would not catch at all, they ended up getting stuck halfway through and we had to take them all out. Second the bottom of the racks are little uneven when holding the spices, making the spices lean forward or fall over. I don't know if a lot of people would be upset by that but my OCD was screaming when the paprika wouldn't stand up straight. Either way for the price it looks bomb and I feel like a classy lady with a spice rack, I would deff recommend for a first time spice rack for those who ain't got the deep wallet but wanna pretend they are suburban housewife who actually cooks and doesn't eat ramen for most of their meals.

Beautiful and Sturdy Shelf with a caveat!
The shelf came nicely packages in a cardboard box with styrofoam in between the shelving units. However, the styrofoam was not enough to protect the shelving from bending. I'm not sure if it was caused by the shipping or if it was from manufacturing, but many of the front metal wiring was slightly bent. I was able to straighten out most of them so they look visually fine, but just know it'll probably come that way. From the looks of it, I think it came out of manufacturing that way. So I knocked off one star for this. Some people would probably complain and try to return it, but a 2nd shipment would probably have the same issues.Other than that, the shelf itself is beautiful with a nice brown/bronze color. It perfectly fit my smaller 4 oz glass spice jars that I purchased. I was able to fit my larger 6-8 oz spice jars, however you need to have a little room in between them to be able to get them out. There is enough width to the shelf, but not enough height. My only wish was they gave them an additional inch of height between each shelf, but as you can see I was able to make it work.It has plenty of space width wise for a lot of spice, also I have an additional inch of depth from my 4 oz glass bottles.I would not hesitate to purchase this product again!

Ok but price is too steep for this product.
Holds many small spice containers. These tend to tip and/or lean due to wire base to each shelf. Problems are solved with cut out inserts to sit on the shelf bases and by putting a few more small spice/herb containers to stabilize these on the shelves.

Excellent buy
Solid and well designed. A bit heavy and the screws they provide barely go through the wallboard. We had to use our own longer screws and anchors otherwise it probably wouldnโt have stayed on the wall. Very happy with the quality and the look. Fits all my spices, even the larger bottles.

Quantity of storage and narrow format
Met all of my criteria and was easy to install

Perfect fit in cupboard.
For my cupboard perfectly, holds many spices.

It looks great and is sturdy.
Only complaint is that the horizontal bars which the spice jars sit on causes the bottles to either tip backwards or forwards. Other than that it's attractive and solid.
