Impressive controller!
Only received it a few days ago but initial impressions are very very good. Very impressed with controller. I have used the most expensive controllers and this one gets very close to that quality. It beats them in functionality. Just plug USB cable to docking station and then it worked straight away. No need to faf around. Controller is being charger when put on the stand and gets activated when you pick it up from the cradle. Very impressive lights on controller. It has exceeded my expectations. The only remark I would say is that some of the buttons/triggers are slightly more crisp on the controllers which are a few times more expensive but not a big issue. Recommended!

Best controller I've ever had.
Gamer of 40 years here. This is the best controller I've ever had. It's loaded with features and it looks and performs great. I have no issues with this and the price is incredible for what it is, controllers with this build quality and feature set can cost 3 times as much. As long as you don't mind the slightly smaller size of it then this is a slam dunk win as far as I'm concerned, it doesn't really get any better than this.

I Was Unlucky
Unfortunately, because I’ve heard and read great things about 8BitDo’s range of controllers, the one I received had a faulty thumbstick that was stuck turning left even when pushed to the right. As a result I had to send it back.

Mediocre
I'm still unsure about whether to keep this controller.First, the good bits.It feels very well built, as well as any mainstream controller and certainly better than the Microsoft controllers. The analogy sticks are great. Very accurate and no stick drift whatsoever. The triggers feel a little bit linear but are fine overall. Most of the buttons have a nice feel and respond well to input. The dock is nice. It's great to be able to throw a controller onto a charging dock when you're done playing. What is even nicer is getting that dock in the box with the controller. It's got a nice feel, a grippy base, and a nice, muted light bar to show it's status. Now the bad parts. The D-pad is terrible. This alone has me seriously considering returning the controller. They are the most mushy-feeling, unresponsive D-pad buttons I have ever used. They're are borderline unusable. You have to press so hard, through so much mushy sponginess to press, for example, up on the D-pad that you inevitably end up exerting force laterally too, and will most likely end up triggering left or right instead of up. This applies to all of the directions. After exerting a silly amount of accurate force, you will eventually get a mushy clock in response to let you know that you have activated a button.Whilst the charging dock is great, the lack of an easily removable battery pack is not. I haven't yet gotten a feeling for how long the inbuilt battery will last because as soon as I'm done playing, I put the controller back on the dock and let it charge. This in itself could be an issue in the long term. Repeatedly partially discharging and recharging a better can be detrimental to it's lifespan. The Ultimate software from 8BitDo is terrible. I have no control over the RGB lights on the controller. Whilst I have them disabled as I find them a distraction and waste of battery, it would be nice to be able to use them as I please with working software. As many, many others have, I struggled with getting the controller to connect to my PC. It required some ritual of disconnecting, pressing buttons, reconnecting, docking, changing modes, and wired connection to finally get it to work, though I haven't had any issues since.Bad: d pad, battery

Solid pad, massive flaw
I want to like the pad. It's solid, it feels nice to hold, the buttons and joysticks feel great. It is an excellent game pad with a massive flaw. The gyroscope is only mappable to an analogue stick, it cannot be used as a mouse. That's both a massive dealbreaker and a massive disappointment. I'm now returning this pad and going back to my Ultimate 2C Bluetooth, which does have a fully functioning gyro and would highly recommend (Bluetooth, not wireless)

Great alternative to the usual controllers
This has been one of the best controllers I've used. It's lightweight, the controls are highly responsive and the added lights provide a real premium feel. The triggers can be locked with switches if the controller is being taken somewhere or stored in a bag. It's very close to an Xbox controller with much more customisation and has a magnetic stand which charges the controller.

Worth every penny!!
Great build quality, ergonomically comfortable, familiar gamepad footprint for most players, USB-C wireless dongle and bluetooth compatibility (PC & Android), micro switches, TMR joysticks and a 20+ hour battery life. The RGB is a nice touch. I got rid of my Razer Wolverine V3 Pro after 48 hours of using this and good riddence.Ignore the people crying about weird Gyro issues, this isnt the PS3 era. And for switch compatibility, go buy the switch version or use what it came with.

TMR hall effect at budget price
Tmr hall effect sticks are better than my gamesir cyclone pro. Bought during offer so charging station included for less than gamesir cyclone 2. Much better than the gulikit kk2 than broke within a couple of days.
