Maui Babe After Browning Tanning Lotion 8 Ounces

Bought this thinking it was a more natural after-sun lotion. Totally wrong. Contains methyl paraben (this ingredient is horrible on its own, cancer causing, endocrine disrupting...and especially in conjunction with UV rays and sun exposure it causes cancer.) It also contains propylene glycol, which isn’t as harmful, but not really enthused about putting it on my skin. Thoroughly disappointing.

I absolutely love Maui Babe’s browning lotion, so i thought for sure I’d love this after care lotion! However...i was pretty disappointed. The smell isn’t great (especially since the browning lotion smells SO good. this stuff smell like very plain lotion...what the heck?), it leaves me feeling somewhat sticky after it dries, and to be honest it doesn’t feel super duper moisturizing. Its definitely better than nothing...but i think that the way it feels on my skin is equivalent to a cheap St. Ives lotion (chemicals/synthetic ingredients aside). For $17+ i definitely expected my skin to feel very moisturized and smooth, paired with a pleasant scent. I’m not typically a lotion snob but i really recommend spending your $$ elsewhere.

The fragrance is light and smells like Hawaiian florals blowing on a sea breeze! Absorbs quickly, moisturizes very well, never greasy and just leave skin soft and lightly fragranced. Not overpowering at all. So glad I don’t have to travel to Hawaii to get it anymore!

Love this and the Maui Babe Browning Lotion . i just got both again but this time the after sun lotion was alil messy where it leaked .but both the 8fl. Oz. Bottles come with a flip top so you can imagine with shipping that the top would get smashed open . but other than that bottles are in good shape and i didnt lose much . love the smell ❤

This is the best after-sun lotion I have ever tried! It seemed to help minimize sunburn when I applied it after being out too long and helped heal the bits of burn I did get much faster. It has a pleasant non-over bearing smell and sinks into the skin quickly. Couldn’t ask for a better product!

So far this stuff is AMAZING! I literally have the worst dry skin (esp after shaving my legs.) This lotion keeps me moisturized and I have only applied it once in the past 2 days! No visible dry skin AT ALL! Also, didn't burn my "razor burn" areas. It does smell a little "flowery" BUT, I'd rather smell like a flower than stink. :)

Loved how it was delivered super fast! I returned another after tanning lotion because of the smell; I was hoping for maybe a coconut scent or cocoa butter maybe but this is fine. It's not overpowering. Smells as if supposed to be a fresh scent?

Love this lotion, but only had a carry-on while there so couldn't bring any home. So glad I was able to order online, it smells wonderful and absorbs well leaving your skin very soft..

Haven't used it yet as bought it for my holiday but when I received it in found the top wasn't closed properly so it was leaking will have to put sellotape when I pack it.

I rave about Maui Babe products, and this one is no different. I love having this After Sun product to complement the browning lotion. It has a very strong flowery smell, but once the product has absorbed into your skin it dissipates. One of the things I rave about regarding Maui Babe is the natural ingredients. If you like using natural products and taking care of your skin, this is a great product to have on hand!

I have been using this after sun lotion for years after discovering it in Hawaii. It has a beautiful scent (my opinion) and seriously prolongs your tan while helping stave off peeling if you got a burn (like I did by accident on a recent trip to Mexico). Definitely recommend, it will last you a while too!

The browning lotion is a good product, but expensive, especially when the shipping cost is added.

I discovered this while in Hawaii. It smells amazing! This was my third bottle. I use it year round because it smells so good. Highly recommend.

Works well- the smell is nice too... More floral than the tanning lotion (although I prefer the smell of the lotion more).

I have used this product for the last decade. No other product has been able to heal a sun burn in one day. It is soothing and hydrating. It is sensitive enough for use on your face.
