I am an AMI credentialed Montessori guide for ages 2-1/2 through 12, with 44 years experience. I have bought top quality material for all my classrooms and paid corresponding top prices. Now that I am retired, I can no longer afford those prices, but still want to use these incomparable materials for my volunteer tutoring. This fueled my search for lower priced materials, most of which are disappointing in their quality (and some downright wrong in many respects.)I am very impressed by the quality of this EOFEEL product, and other materials from this company. They are exact duplicates of Dr. Montessori's plans and very well executed, including the appropriate storage boxes. I am blown away by the low price. They seem as durable and sturdy as the top of the line materials from well-known European manufacturers, and are carefully finished, packaged, and shipped. My daughter, a current Montessori Primary teacher, is equally impressed. I plan to purchase all future materials from this company.PLEA to EOFEEL: continue following the path of providing authentic material at reasonable prices and the Montessori world will beat a path to your door. I love the Montessori method, and as a homeschooling mom, I try to incorporate as many of her ideas around practical application of skills and hands on learning as I can into our days. My son, currently 8 yo, has been having a tough time with reading. This is one area where I have not been as great about manipulatives as I could have been. Using the 'teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons' book as a companion to the Montessori letters has been great for my 4yo daughter who finds reading and writing an almost natural skill, but my son does much better with a more individualized 'fill in the blanks' focusing on words from topics he is actually interested in. These Montessori letters paired with words that have spaces for letters to be filled in and pictures of the items that match the words have been great to help my son with his confidence in word recognition and spelling (he knows all letter sounds, and has for years, but he lacks confidence in reading/comprehending the actual word that the sounds he correctly sound out are connected to). We have been taking vocabulary words from his favorite literature (Akata witch series is our current dig, but I have been reading aloud and using audio books because he is not at the same level reading as he is on with literature appreciation) and using the Montessori set to fill in the blank. I think that today, we will work with the pictures alone so that he can spell out the whole words.Short story, the Montessori letters are just what they were developed for, a no fuss was for kids to 'write' their own words. It's an incredibly versatile tool and can be used in conjunction with so many resources, as well as easy to create child-specific resources that you can create. I need to get another set for my great nieces.

I find wooden movable alphabets to be incredibly useful in teaching reading and writing with young children. This one is sturdy and has the vowels in blue (traditional style that is helpful.) The children are able to build words easily with this set.

The media could not be loaded. I am excited about this product. The box is nice and so are the letters. I was very disappointed to find one of the dividers loose when I opened the package. I debated returning but we planned to start “school” the next week and I didn’t want to risk not having in time to begin. So I hot glued the divider and everything else is in good shape. So I guess my recommendation would be to order in time to return if need be. Otherwise a very nice product.

Item is of great quality except the letter t is not a traditional t. Makes it very hard when teaching that letter since it looks different. Very disappointed that item was not as pictured. Asked for them to send the correct letter and they have not. Very dissatisfied

***Update*** I emailed their customer service and they promptly responded and are sending me the missing/defective lettersServes its purpose and seems likely to be durable enough to last but there was an intense and overwhelming odor as soon as I unwrapped the plastic and I had to put it on my porch to air out. I emailed the seller regarding missing lower case j and received an upper case N that is painted on the wrong side.

Well worth what you pay for!! It's absolutely beautiful! Bigger than I thought it was going to be but that only makes it better! Great item to have for our Montessori Homeschool Room! Recommend to anyone who is interested in buying this item.

These are nice letters except the pictures for the listing are inconsistent. The majority of the pictures have a 't' without the curve at the bottom, but mine did arrive with the curve; a little disappointing.
