Surprisingly Very Good (At Least for Heavy Ebike Purposes)
I actually received this less than 48 hours after I ordered it, even though Amazon estimated it would take up to 2 weeks to deliver. The box was a little abused in shipping (?), but nothing was damaged other than some very minor black paint removal (two areas less than a centimeter long). The instructions were very basic with very vague, blurry black and white pictures that are relatively useless, but at least the spelling and syntax are correct, which is rarity these days for items sourced like this.Assembly is fairly easy and rather common sense. All the hardware was included with nothing missing. It's definitely sturdy enough for my use, which is to transport a 100+ lb ebike. Again, I can only vouch for this as I'm using it -- I have no idea if it's good for a dirt bike/motorcycle. Because of the short 4' wheelbase (center of wheel to center of wheel), I had to do an unusual configuration for the bolts that the wheels rest on, but it works and the wheels are deep enough in the frame to use the retaining bolts through the wheels so straps just help keep the bike upright.Very difficult to beat this solution price wise. Most ebike carriers capable of supporting a 100+ pounds are over $1000, which is just ridiculous.

OK product - good price - terrible instructions
This is a pretty solid bike rack, but really, the assembly instructions are almost comical. Why don’t they just forget the fuzzy, out of focus photos, which are of no use whatsoever. Basically, they say take it out of the box and put it together, without any further details except for the fuzzy photos which remind me of all those Bigfoot pictures. Other reviews say the same thing, so I guess we can surmise that this company just doesn’t care what the customer thinks. The box, by the way, looked like it got here after being attacked by a pack of rabid dingos. And nothing about how to strap your bike on. But good product at a good price, and if you look at other companies’ videos, you’ll eventually figure it out.

It's like a futon for my motorcycle
I needed a way to haul my dual-sport 250cc moto around, and this fit the bill. Slightly cheaper than the 'best' reviewed, it still does the job, for the most part. I ordered some sandpaper and forest green spray paint, and sanded everything down and sprayed it before assembly to match my Kawasaki's colors. Everything was in the box, but it had been banged up a bit, resulting in slight damage to one of the 'arms' - some nicks and scratches, mostly, with some deeper gouges on one side. Nothing major but I would have had to repaint those sections, as the black finish had been scraped off.Assembly was fairly straightforward, however, if you aren't able to guess how things go together based off a grainy photo and poorly written, sparse instructions, this might not be for you. Everything bolts into place with the supplied hardware, and everything lined up pretty well. I put everything together with the main piece already in the hitch reciever, making it much easier to assemble, off the ground. One thing that isn't obvious or mentioned in the instructions is the need to NOT over-tighten everything. The 8 bolts that hold the 'arms' together go through them, and the arms are hollow, so if you tighten the nuts too much, you will 'pinch' the rails, which will weaken it and probably result in a failure - with your motorcycle strapped to it. The longer bolts that serve as the 'floor' can also be over-toghtened, which will actually bend the rails of the arm, also not ideal. You should be able to visually see when everything is tight enough, since the rails are made of relatively thin square stock, much like you'd see on a futon frame. You will have to get used to a lot of movement as you drive, as there is some play in the reciever, and the arms will flex and move when you load up. You will want to try to tighten the straps instinctively, but again, you have to be careful that you don't over do it, since you'll be putting more 'weight' onto the frame when you do, and your moto will still be flopping around. Hypothetically, it needs to flex, and you've just got to trust that everything will hold together. I've been driving around town with this for about a week now, and it's still unnerving to see things bobbing around in my rearview, but everything seems to be in good shape still, no bends, cracks or other flexing I can see. The locknuts and catch-washers have kept everything nice and tight so far. I'll be heading for the mountain this weekend, so we'll how everything holds up off-road and with some highway miles. I will update this review if I find anything wrong in the next month or so.

Do NOT purchase this carrier
I really wanted this carrier to work better but in the end it is very flimsy and too narrow in length for my KTM 300 xc-w. The carrier is too short for the bike, no matter how many different ways I tried to get the tires to fit. And even with the bike sitting on the carrier, I never felt completely comfortable when I racketed it down. With the tires not fitting well into the carrier, there's too much play/movement in it to feel comfortable going down the road carrying my bike.Assembling the carrier wasn't as difficult as I thought but I very disappointed in the overall quality. In terms of returning it, the seller is charging about $70 to have it returned, which of course is absurd. So long story short, I highly recommend to any dirt bike rider out there to avoid this 7Blacksmiths dirt bike carrier at all costs.

Perfect for heavy e-bike
I needed a good option for carrying my new Himiway Cobra Pro e-bike which weighs 90 pounds. This rack was exactly what I was looking for. I'm not sure about the 500 pound rating, but it definitely handles 100 pounds with no problem. I don't use the anti-wobble jig it comes with because I prefer to use a locking hitch pin. There would be some wobble, but I use a strap to keep the tires tight to the rack and attach the other end to recovery hooks on my bumper. So far the bike hasn't moved at all with the use of 4 tie-down straps. Just know this rack is large, but it has to be in order to accommodate a large e-bike or motorcycle.
