Works well. The activity light is super bright which I like. You know when its working. It gets warm if I remember correctly. I use it for my dash camera and cameras with micro SD cards

With ALL the cell phones having their SD Card feature removed because the phone companies can charge a minimum of $100 more for more internal storage.......this tool becomes a life saver.

This is the first Micro SD to USB C adapter I have tried. Was pretty impressed I had to transfer over 50 gigs of Audiobooks to my Phone's 400 gig Micro SD card. I was getting an average of 18 to 19mb per week transfer.This will be added to my every day carry Keychain.

This thing is incredibly useful for both laptops and phones that don't come with an integrated SD card reader. It's small and portable enough to fit on a keychain. There are two slight issues that I'd like to address. First, it tends to heat up quite a bit after a mere minutes. It has never reached temperatures that may damage the phone or the micro SD card itself, though I would steer clear of using this for extended periods of time and/or with an expensive card. Secondly, the LED indicator can be a bit bright in a dark setting, especially when it's flashing.

This dongle works as advertised, but I didn't think to check if it was USB 3.0 compatible....It is not.As a result, transfer speeds are very slow compared to the modern standard. It took me hours to download some 4K footage that would have normally taken minutes.If you're using it for small amounts of photos, etc. It will probably be fine for your needs. I'll also mention the form factor is great, but there isn't much/any clearance between this device and a standard USB-C power cable coming into a MacBook Air's two USB-C ports.

Update:I've had this a few months now. I keep it on my keychain. It has held up fine & always works. Like this a lot. I have a camera system on my motorcycle, as well as a go pro. The little nugget allow me to view footage on my phone at any time.

The Entertainment System on the 2019 Cadillac (and presumably many other later model GM Vehicles) has 2 USB ports. One of these ports is USB-C. I copied my music collection to 2 Micro SD Cards and purchased this product and a very similar product (SCORLTEC branded).The "Scorltec" product works great without any issues. This ("Rocketek") product was not recognized by the vehicle at all. Also, The Micro SD card was difficult to install and the USB reader itself was also difficult to insert into the Vehicle's USB slot.I have not tested this on a laptop which presumably is its primary market but if you are purchasing this to use on a GM vehicle, look elsewhere
