Snug fit for 35mm point and shoot film camera
I didn't know if my old 35mm point and shoot Olympus Superzoom 700BF (dimensions with lens closed is 120mm x 75mm x 55mm or 4.72" x 2.95" x 2.16") would fit inside, but it does fit (barely.) Anything larger than the dimensions above might not fit well as was proved by my other point and shoot film camera.Unfortunately, my other 35mm point and shoot film camera, a Ricoh Shotmaster 130Z with the dimensions 128mm x 72mm x 52mm (or 5.03" x 2.83" x 2.05") did not manage to fit into the case. No problem, though, as I have a couple of compact digital point and shoot cameras for which the case will work handily when their cases finally give up the ghost.Overall, the cases seem to be constructed decently and for what I consider to be a fair price.

I literally bought it a second time, that's how good it was.
Nice cheap case for a small point and shoot camera. I have an older Samsung point and shoot camera I came while hiking and take with me when I camp from a motorcycle and my SLR is too big but my camera doesn't have the zoom range I want. This offers a nice small package with room for a spare battery and memory card. I used an unused shoelace to make the strap long enough to go crossbody making it easier to carry when hiking than hanging of the same side as the shoulder it hangs from. I actually had one of these and sold it as a package with a point and shoot camera, immediately regretted the decision to sell and bought a replacement camera but bought the exact same case over again (that's how happy I was with it).

perfect size for RX 100 VII but water resistance not great; still good value
size is perfectly. camera slides easily in/out but no unnecessary extra space. front pocket is big enough for an extra battery and memory cards yet tight enough so they won't fall out or get lost. I don't bother with the shoulder strap since for me this pouch is for putting in pocket. has protected camera from minor incidents. However, on one occasion it was in my timbuk2 messenger bag on the way home, and a water bottle inside somehow leaked. the bag got very wet, including inside, and some got on the camera. for a while, the camera was kind of dead. It would not turn on normally, although you could still get into it by pressing the photo review arrow button (a unique feature of this camera). it wasn't soaked, fortunately. I took the battery and SD card out, left that compartment open, and let the camera sit overnight; did not have any rice handy. Next morning, the camera came back to life, and it's been fine since (1 week). But that was a scare -- a $1300 camera I can't afford to lose, and thought I had well protected. I had a laptop in the messenger bag as well but it was ensconced in the special compartment sewed into the bag for it (you can order that from timbuk2), and it was completely dry. Not a drop. I've started going back to a different (smaller) timbuk2 model, the original Commute that has the water bottle holster on the outside rather than the inside. it won't hold the larger bottles but if they leak it won't be inside the bag. Anyhow, for the price, this amazon bag it's pretty good. It took a couple of days to dry out, and in the meantime I went back to an old Op/Tech pouch/bag (horizontally orientated, meant to be worn on belt), which is a little larger.

Great case for my medium sized point and shoot camera
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a very nice and practical case for my Sony DSCHX80. Easy to bring along with me for hiking trails. And it is slightly padded inside for the camera. The front pocket fit my extra batteries and sd cards. Would recommend!Size:Fit my medium point and shoot camera

Heavy duty small camera case
Nice sturdy camera case, heavy duty material has a has an outside pocket and shoulder strap , should work well for a small camera, note: measure camera to be sure.

Not true to size
It says medium but it's so much smaller in real life. I couldn't fit any of my camera in it. It's a good case though if you get the right size

The Large Case Snuggly Fits a Sony RX100 iii With Small Accessories
I recently got a new Sony RX100 iii point and shoot camera and needed a carrying case. After reading reviews for many cases, I decided to just go with an Amazon Basics case. My main requirements of the case were 1) Fits that I can comfortably take the camera in and out of the case, 2) Gives adequate protection and 3) Uses a belt loop so can carry the camera on my belt. The AmazonBasics Large Point and Shoot Camera Case meets all of the above for my RX1000 iii camera. The case has three areas. First, the main zippered area to hold the camera itself. Second, a smaller outer zippered area to hold a few accessories and Third, inside the second area, a small pocket to hold something small like a spare SD card.1. (Fit) I've managed to carry the camera (which is connected to an option grip), the usb cable and charger which came with the camera, a Sony ACCTRDCX Travel DC Charger Kit (Which about an inch longer than the camera's battery. I place a spare battery in the charger kit) and SD card holder. I placed the smaller wall wart that came with the camera on the bottom of inside case area, then slip the camera on that. The outer pocket, I placed a quarter (used to screw/unscrew the optional grip) inside a SD card holder. The rest of the outer pocket, I placed the usb cable that came with the camera along with the small ACCTRDCX Travel DC Charger Kit. The items store nicely and don't get in the way when taking things out or putting in the case.2) (Protection) I've say the protection of the case is average. There is good padding towards the back where the LCD screen of my camera rests against. Towards the front where the lens is facing there is some, but less padding. Towards the sides, there is no padding.3) (Belt Loop) The outer back of the case is a sturdy looking attached belt loop. I like this loop as along with seeming sturdy the loop is about two inches wide. The case also comes with strap that clips onto loops to carry the case around the neck. I'm only interested in carrying this on my belt, that is a non-issue for me. The only minor quibble I have is the inside are two big tags like those on a mattress. First thing I did was cut off and remove the tag as that would've got in the way.Overall, I give the AmazonBasics camera case 5 Stars.
