Great moulding. I found it best to cut with hand miter saw as my compound saw melted it. Very easy and accurate to cut by hand. Recommend buying wooden miter box and putting in a few nails to cut the mouldind at 45 degrees. Took me five test cuts to learn how to cut for inner / outer corners, and took my time for each real cut. Result is great, will be buying more.

Love this trim so much I just ordered more for another room! It came packaged exceptionally well. Each piece is absolutely straight and flawless. The ends butt up together seamlessly. The shorter length makes it much easier to manage when cutting it. Quick delivery also. The perfect size for just adding a little bit of classiness to a room. The room I used it in is fairly small so I didn't want something too large. Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

I bought this for a steamy bathroom because I thought it would be less likely to be affected by water, and indeed it is. It's a nicely made material, but when you cut it, be aware of one thing: with wood or MDF, you want to cut slowly to avoid splintering, but with this material, you want to cut it quickly. The spinning saw blade will cause the styrene to melt into little balls. You'll avoid this by cutting it quickly. Other than that, it's easy to work with, lightweight yet quite sturdy.

I've used Styrofoam crown before and I thought that's what I was getting here. It's more of a plastic material. It's very light weight, so it's easy to work with in that regard. When trying to paint them, EVERY spec of dust attracted to them, like a static balloon. Very annoying. The most gentle painters tape took the paint off completely. I will never purchase these again. Nothing but a pain.

This looks great and I thought it was a good deal too. It took me awhile to get the cuts right, but I looked on YouTube to understand that I needed to cut upside down to get the right inside and outside corners. It is a little brittle so make gentle cuts without too much pressure. I used construction adhesive to attach it to the ceiling and walls. That worked really well. I had one little gap that I filled with caulk. This was a good buy!

When I ordered this I was looking for a lightweight product that I could cut and install myself. Since it was advertised as a product that could be installed with construction adhesive I thought it would be very light and like styrofoam. When I opened the package I immediately knew it would never adhere with construction adhesive alone, but I cut my pieces and tried. And tried and tried and made a terribly mess on my walls and ceiling with the construction adhesive. The problem for me, was that the product was of a higher quality than I expected or needed. I returned it and now I’m looking for something more like styrofoam.
