These were a pretty neat idea. I have a small bathroom that is very echoey and I thought these would look great and maybe help with sound dampening. I figured out pretty quick I didn’t know what I was doing and didn’t know how to cut these without ruining them. I am now just staring at them as they lay in a pile in the corner of the room. I’m pretty sure they will be there for a while until they get moved out to the garage. They could be be really good if you know what you are doing.

Easy to install, thicker than expected. Great quality. I was able to cut it with a miter saw. It was messy but easy. Looks great up on the wall. I don't think it really dampens the noise too much, but I did already have carpet in the area before this so maybe there wasn't much else to dampen in a small space. Either way, I love it even just for how it turned out.

These are really cool looking acoustic panels, but because of the Hexagon shape, you do need to cut on the ends to square up. Because of the wood and foam combination, this is not an easy task. I ended up ruining them trying to cut with a circular saw and these ended up in the landfill. I'd tried a razor knife, but that wasn't enough to cut through the wood. After I screwed up one end with a circular saw, I tried a hand saw, and that was even worse. I've know idea what you're to do, other than not square off the corners. I wouldn't suggest these unless you're not going to try and square them off.Update - I increased rating from 3 to 5 stars because I was also able to try the 12.5" W x 94.4" L planks. These are much more practical as they not only need fewer cuts, but cut much easier. While the hexagon shaped panels were only a three-star product in my view, these 12.5" W x 94.4" L planks are a five-star product in my view.

These hexagon wood wall panels are great. They are large and easy to install. The black thick felt like backing can be cut with a box cutter. The sides of the wooden hexagons have perfect black edges and these look lovely. Black screws are included which is nice for hiding the fasteners. The pattern has an excellent overlap that slots into the next panel seamlessly. These are nice for sound dampening and have a professional look. This kit comes with four panels so several kits are needed for larger spaces.

I was not expecting the largeness of these panels. I was pleasantly surprised. The color was as expected and true. The quality is good as well. The panels are not very heavy and easy to maneuver. Installation was extremely easy for me. You have several options for installation. I went with screws placed in strategic areas. I tried to get at least a few screws into studs in the wall. I find that this helps a lot for more security and sturdiness. I did not need to cut any of my panels as they were the right size. I’m not certain about ease of cutting. So far these panels have stayed put and are functional. In my opinion these are worth the value. I have no complaints.
