Since this set of watercolor paints includes 36 packs, I have yet to find another set that beats the value proposition. Here are some thoughts on this set.Pros:- In addition to the usual colors, this set makes it unique because of the unique shape of the paint pieces. Some colors are heart shaped, some star shaped, and some diamond shapes. I have yet to see such a unique way of presenting water color paints before.- The quality of the plastic boxes is slightly above average. This gets the details right. They even include a ring to hang it on the wall or some hook if you so desire.- The included brush does not disappoint. It is appropriately sized (not too small brush head and not too thin handle).Cons:- None that I can think of but I'll be sure to update this review if any irregularities come up.Overall, I do recommend this set of 36 water color paint sets.

I ordered this box of 36 watercolor sets for classroom use. I was drawn to the colors being in basic shapes, so that instruction to the children can be given not just in the color but also in the shape of the color. The colors are nicely pigmented and strong enough to not have to go over what's being painted multiple times. I also appreciate that the colors didn't liquefy with a fair amount of water… they are thick and as such, I anticipate they will last for more than just a few uses. I particularly like the paintbrush; this is not your dollar store variety plastic paintbrush with terrible thick bristles. Instead, the paintbrush is wood with fine bristles and I was able to draw shapes and write words quite easily. No bristles fell out during my use of the paintbrush, and it cleaned up nicely when I was finished. Overall, I feel this watercolor set is of excellent quality and I highly recommend!

These are good quality watercolor paints. They are not just for kids! I have dabbled in watercolors a bit and these paints are easy to work with and great for a painting workshop. I was concerned somewhat that there might not be enough different colors for adults, but this little tray was enough for me to paint a scene of a row of potted plants with variety in color achieved through layering yellow over green or orange over brown, etc. To challenge myself and see if this small set with a single brush was gong to work for an art session with senior citizens, I didn't allow myself any other tools, except for a toothpick to make polka dots. I am really happy with how it turned out.

Each palette contains eight colors and one brush. The paint mixes easily with water and applies well to paper. The shapes that hold the paint are fairly shallow, but there is enough paint for one or two sessions. These palettes are good for children who mix up the colors by not rinsing their brush between colors or when you want a nice new palette to give to a visiting child. These would also make great stocking stuffers or party favors.

This is an excellent value! The outside package is made of sturdy plastic with nice snap closure and a hook to hang if desired. The interior plastic that holds the paint pots is made of very thin and flimsy plastic, but the different shapes of the paint pots are fun and make up for the quality. The included brush is better than others that I have seen come with water color kits, the handle is made of wood and the brush fibers are absorbent and don't just push the paint around. These are perfect for kids or doing a watercolor paint night!

The paints included in this bulk package are surprisingly good. The manufacturer wasn't skimpy with the pigments, so the colors dry nice and bright. There's not a lot of each color paint, but it should be enough for a few kids' masterpieces! The different shapes of each paint pot are unique - I've not seen anything like it. The paintbrush is also surprisingly nice. The long, soft bristles are very nice to work with. The plastic case closes securely and opens fairly easily.These will make great party favors, classroom supplies, or Halloween treats!

These sets contain more color than standard watercolors, and the shapes are a fun add-on for younger kids. Paint quality is great. And price is best of all - total bargain. Fun for a kids' art party too!

I love these student grade watercolors. There are 36 sets, each comes with 8 colors and 1 paint brush. The colors are bright and react with water very well. A perfect find for all ages.
