Beautiful Blue Dial, Lots of Useful Info, Quality Watch
The blue dial is definitely my fav. feature and I think the main highlight of this striking watch. In person, it often has a darker shade of blue similar to navy blue, as supposed to the light "baby blue" seen on some pictures. The deep shade of blue changes to a nice, reflective lighter blue depending on light angle. It's pretty cool. This looks best under low/indoor lighting.I love good-looking watches as much as the next person, but if the design can incorporate useful functions as well, it's a winner for me. And this watch does all of that.It has Day of the week, Date of the month, 24/hr, and different timezones calculations. And it's solar-powered, so no need to worry about battery changes every few years, which is a plus for an everyday watch.Build quality seems very nice to the touch. Bracelet is medium weight and solidity, not too noisy nor ultra quiet. The clasp has these beautiful brushed marking that look very classy (see pics).Overall, good watch for the price. I think one of the few unique ones with the features and good appearance at the pricepoint 👍

Beautiful Watch
This is my 3rd Citizen and my absolute favorite. Get compliments all the time and can be worn for any event. Again my favorite of the 3 and its not even the most expensive. :)

LOVE this watch!
My old Seiko died and I started looking for something new. I ended up buying a Seiko Coutura and this Calendrier. The date dial and the 24 hour dial are a little hard to read unless I have it under really good light. The rest of the watch face is very readable. The blue dial is beautiful and I love the moveable bezel to figure world time. The band is two-tone silver and very comfortable (my wrist is just over 7.5 inches). The weight is over 1.5 oz less than the Seiko- so a nice weight for daily wear. This is my first Citizen watch and I like the Eco-drive system. And there was a special sale that made it hard to resist. Very happy with this purchase!

Beautiful timepiece but.....
I bought this watch and a CASIO so I could compare at the functional level. This Citizen is a beautiful and well built timepiece. I hate to say it but Im leaning toward sending it back in favor of the Casio- Night visibility very difficult compared to Casio- Date dial very hard to read- Multi timezone functions are usable- Day of week dial quite hard to read- Reseting when crossing time zones difficult compared to CasioIf you dont do a lot of travel and want a beauitiful and well made watch, this is it. Im not sure its for me

Awesome watch
I bought this to replace a Seiko 5 that broke after 10 years of use (not the watch’s fault it broke). I was a little hesitant to get another automatic watch because I was only wearing it on days I worked, and winding up after my weekend was not my favorite thing. After some research I decided on the Citizen Eco-drive movement.I also wanted something with a day/date feature and 24 hour time on the dial. The world clock feature was a huge bonus as I travel often. I was very happy to find this watch with all the features I wanted and nothing I didn’t need.I was concerned about the size as I had never had a 44mm case and I don’t have big arms, but I measured and cut a diagram on a piece of paper and taped it on my wrist and decided it would be a good size. I will say I wouldn’t want to go any bigger than this, but the utility and readability is well worth a little extra real estate over my previous watch.ProsLooks better in person - elegant without being overly dressyVery easy to set. The analog calendar turned out to be faster to adjust than I imagined.Easy to use the world clock feature. Just check the 24 hour hand and then use the lower dial to turn the outer ring to match that number to your current time zone, and you can see what hour it is anywhere in the world. It looks smaller in person than I imagined, probably because there is so much going on on the face.It is very quiet. I tried a few other watches and the timex in particular was annoyingly loud. This one is almost dead silent for me.Solar powered, no battery replacement or winding needed. Mine came with a decent charge out of the box, but I still put it in the sun for a few hours before setting it. Refer to the manual for specifics.Looks great with NATO straps. I swapped out the leather strap right away because it is hot where I live now and I’m not a huge fan of colored leather.ConsIncluded strap is a bummer. The quality seems fine but I couldn’t figure out how to adjust it by myself and the manual suggested I consult a watch fitter. Pish posh. I popped it off with a tiny screwdriver and threw on a cheap NATO strap in a few minutes and never looked back.On that note, I might have made more effort if the included strap was brown or black. Blue leather just seems icky to me. But if that’s your thing, and you don’t mind taking the time to get it sized up, I guess it seems like a decent quality for the price

Glad I bought this vs the bulova marine star
I wanted a blue dial watch to go with my small collection of some movado 's a tag and some other lesesr brands, but still nice watches in their own right (like this citizen) wish I could afford an omega, lol. Anyways None of what I have has a deep blue dial I always wanted to go with a blue wedding ring. I Decided I would budget about 4 to 5 hundred for a good watch. Came down to this and the bulova this is pictured with. This was hard, but it's a top of line citizen vs a low end bulova. Both owned by citizen. Think Toyota avalon vs Lexus ES class. Would rather have the Toyota. Plus this has eco drive that will last close to a decade if well kept before any battery change. It looks great and am happy I got this one.

Why this is frequently returned
We ignored the frequently returned warning and ordered. Then returned less than an hour later. Our reasons for returning: you can’t see the day/date info in the small circles. Old eyes here. And you set it through an app and at least on hubby’s android phone the screen to set everything up never actually loaded. Not sure why ye olde leather strap with a buckle needed to be converted to the weird metal watch band clasp. But that didn’t help the other negatives. Had previously had Citizen EcoDrive and was disappointed in this. It did look nice.
