Had to modify for Dodge Ram 1500
I have a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 with the Amp steps. The product listing didn't have my steps part # on them , but I figured I'd try anyway as I HAD to lower the steps getting into the truck as I lifted the truck 6" . What I figured out was these 2" extensions have to be grinded down in the middle high part on the back of the extension , so the slot on the back of the extension goes across the whole back. Once I did this, they fit perfect and I went from top of running board height of 15" to 13" with the extensions. Another reason why I gave them 3 stars was the Amp steps were flush under the cab hidden when closed. Now they hang down in view when they are in the closed position about 2" . I HAD to have these, no way my wife could get in and out of the truck without the 2" extensions.

Wife approved I guess lol
I’m not so sure about these yet . I have posted a pic of one installed I also posted a pic of the full step up with extensions and one pic with no extensions . I do not like the way the step drops lower than body of truck now it looks horrible , I do not like the look of that huge block when step is open . With the regular step in the up position you cannot tell it’s even there with the extensions you see the entire step even when in the up position defeats the purpose of the amp steps completely . You would think for something that costs $125 they would make these work like they where intended to work . One reason and one reason only that I am keeping these on my truck for now , and that’s called my WIFE . I am giving these a 2 star rating only cause they do what they say they do and that’s drop the step 2 inches . I will give them a 5 star rating on keeping my wife off my ass cause she doesn’t fall out of the truck now lmfao this keeps her from bitchin at me to much . I have a 13 f350 with 10” lift

Don't listen to Ford or AMP - this kit WILL work!
I bought a 2017 F350 with auto running boards but the boards were too high for my vertically challenged wife to step onto. I contacted Ford and was told there was no way to lower the boards. I contacted AMP and was told the didn't make a lowering kit that would work with these boards. I then gambled and bought this extension arm kit and with a slight exchange of parts it worked perfect. Now wife is happy thus I'm happy. If anyone else needs to lower the power step on their 17/18 F250/350 buy this kit and it will be obvious the slight exchange needed to make it work.

Fits all regular amp steps
Fits all regular motorized Amp steps. Not sure why it only specifies a certain truck. These are universal. The only downfall is that by their nature they stick the steps down 2" from the bottom of the truck when folded up, they no longer sit flush to the cab, but there's no way around that if you want to drop your steps down lower. My 5'2" wife loves the lower step height on my 7" lifted Silverado with 35's!

Great product overall
I picked 3 stars for the extension because the power step itself for my 2011 F350 Lariet is a solid 5 stars. Aesthetically, you could not ask for more, disappearing under the truck, solid and very complimentary by all. The extensions are a solid piece of high quality and easy installation. However, once installed, the step becomes highly visible and if any rake to your truck the step then appears uneven. My Carli 2.5 pintop lift is only 4.5" and the 2" would have been perfect but due to cosmetics now removed to be returned much to my disappointment. Perhaps in the future, a viable solution may come about?

Much easier entry and exit from our F350
I'm 75 years old and they make it much easier for my wife and I to get into our F350. The steps don't fit up as tight as without them but I can live with that.

Work great. Lower steps 2 inch’s
Work great. Lower steps 2 inch’s. Only this is the move the seat away from the truck, so they don’t look as good. A must for life’s trucks
