I used to use those magnet purse holders and they worked OK...when there was something metal for them to cling to. More often than not there was nothing metal and the magnet would just stick to things I didn't want it to. So I needed a better purse hanger and THIS IS THE ONE!! It is low key, no bling, no dumb logo. Just reliable, good quality, folds down to just about nothing, it isn't heavy, but sturdy enough to hold my big tote bag with two 18 oz yetis plus my Macbook Air and iPad Mini, phone and stuff, but also small enough to not overwhelm or ruin the profile of my little wristlet purse. Love these purse/bag hangers. They fit easily into my purse and are incredibly handy in restrooms, in restaurants, at the bank, etc. Anywhere I need to put my purse down and I don't want it on the floor. Easy to use, subtle in appearance, and works amazing.

I'm giving it 4 stars only because it's too short to work on the thinker dinner tables but other than that I love it and I always get compliments when I use it
