It is soooooo frustrating when trying to find a suitable product that is suitable for combine with another product and noone will add compatibility in the reviews or how to install the item. IT IS ALSO FRUSTRATING THAT THIS SELLER LITERALLY SENDS ZERO INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!! BUT THIS PRODUCT IS FIT FOR PURPOSE FOR THE RING BATTERY VIDEO DOORBELL PLUS ALSO KNOWN AS THE RING DOORBELL PLUS!!!!!!! I had to literally buy this and be extremely hopeful it actually would work and it does!!!! It is a lil hard to comprehend, took me a minute to understand how you do it. So you remove the ring battery cover and screw the plate NON-RED STICKY TAPE SIDE UP! RED TAPE ATTACHES TO THE DOOR! After you remove the battery plate (remove in the same manner you would to remove the battery to charge it) align the four screw points up (they are 2 at the bottom and 2 kind of middleish so align the plate and the ring doorbell plus) put the four screws through the ring doorbell plus’s four screw holes AND through the actual plate, so they combine/attach together. Tighten screws and replace the ring doorbell plus removable plate. Then peel off red sticky tape and position accordingly! Push and hold it in place to ensure its secure and DONE. Also by ‘plate’ I do mean the the doorbell mount!!!!This door mount stays on securely! And holds up very well!!! I needed this info before buying with hope so i hope this helps others! As there arent many door mounts for the ring doorbell plus.AGAIN THIS DOES MOUNT RING DOORBELL PLUS!!!!

I have 2 Ring doorbells plus .I have one on the front door, and I am using the other one for my garage to give it added protection. I have just moved home, and I lost some of the fittings (I have them somewhere, but I don't know where they are).So this was going to be a temporary replacement.As it was going up on wood, I put it up a day before I was fitting the ring doorbell.It's now been up about 2 months. in the Northern Ireland rain/wind, etc., and it has stayed up very well. I do check on it, not as often as I would like, as it's about 8 feet off of the ground (I am using the ring doorbell as a security camera).I am not sure how long it will last, so I am busy searching for my proper ring kit.

Been up for just over a month now, no problems and a lot cheaper than the name branded ones. it comes with instructions of how to set it up but they are not really needed. It also comes with another screwdriver to screw your doorbell onto it. in all honesty I don't think its going to be easy to come off the door. Don't know where people are getting the bad reviews from unless they just got a defective sticky thing. but yeah id say choose this over the name brand ones.

I can confirm this does fit the new Ring Doorbell Plus. Another reviewer stated they did not, but they must have misunderstood the layout somehow. The quality is good, tools are provided and a useful spare adhesive pad included.I cannot comment how long they will stick to my door, but I am confident the adhesive appears strong enough.

Despite previous reviews, this does NOT work with Ring Video doorbell 3rd Gen in any way shape or form. Save yourself time and money. It may well work with other brands but not with Ring.

Edit of an old review where I stated that this was not suitable for ring doorbell plus, many apologies to the seller, turns out it fits perfectly (I was just doing it wrong), securing adhesive tape is super strong and is perfect for UPVC doors, just be careful to apply doorbell straight as this backing does not give up without a fight

This is essentially a black mounting plate that acts like a sandwich filling between doorbell and door and the adhesive backing is an attractive alternative to drilling and screws. Ensure the attachment area is flat, clean and dry before applying adhesive pads. Essential to order for correct ring doorbell generation. I used for gen 2.
