KIKO Milano Pearly Eye Base | Brightening eye base that improves the hold and enhances the colour of your eyeshadow

Unfortunately, due to a serious eye condition, all formulations of eyeshadow seriously irritate my eyes. This is a fantastic substitute as it has a beautiful glistening taupe tone, no glitter no.powder, so if you suffer as I do, give it a go.I blend with my fingers.

This really is the perfect base, and that is what I was looking for, completely neutral. Good quality non sticky and not a thick base

I’ve tried this once and I have got on with it very well.I suffer with chronic dry eye, I have to use eye drops hourly during the day.I needed a product that would manage me messing around with my eyes every hour, I didn’t want my eye shadow to crease up or crumble away.This eye primer evened out the tone of my eyelid. It gave a nice light base to work from. I left it a minute or two before adding the eyeshadow on top.I was using a mixture of eyeshadow including some with glitter in them. My eye shadow seem to bond well with the eye primer.My eyeshadow looked as good at the end of the day as it did at the beginning of the day, so I am very impressed as it wasn’t an expensive product.If this product continues to perform this well, I will definitely buy it again.

I'm choosing to give this three stars as I feel that this does actually work, but only for a while. At least on me. I have slightly oily skin, my eyelids are quite particular when it comes to primer eye base but I wanted to try this one based on other KIKO Milano products I've used in the past.This works, but for me? It only lasts a portion of the day before my eyeshadow starts slipping away. Even more so when it's hot, muggy weather. I'll finish the tube but I won't be purchasing it again.That said? The way it goes on is great, it's nice and light so you have a good base to put your shadow on, and if you do not have oily prone skin, this may last you the entire day and into the evening. Don't count it out, consider your own skin and then maybe give it a try? For the price, I do not feel this was a waste of time or money, I'm glad I tried it.

Bought for the missus. She does like it but finds other brands are better for lighter coloured eyeshadows. This one is best for medium to darker shades

To be quite honest I didn’t really think this would work too well especially when reading the reviews ..but I couldn’t afford to pay much more out for eye base.. so I though let’s go for it ..mmm well on first trying it I wasn’t overly pleased but….The following morning I squeezed a very small amount onto the back of my hand so it became warmish .. then I used a very tiny amount onto my eye lids and smithed it along with my finger then kept my eyes shut a few seconds and wafted over the eye lid drying the eye base .. then applied eye shadow ….absolutely amazing lasted all day until gojng to bed ..then I remove with cotton wool pads and lotion .. Worth Every Penny and will last for ages … NICELY SURPRISED ..

I do not normally use an eye base but decided to try this product and was not disappointed. It covers the eye area without dragging and provides a smooth blank canvas on which to apply eyeshadow etc. It even looks good alone as it does neutralize the skin on the eye area. You only need a tiny amount for each eye which also adds to the value of the product and it is best to pat it on gently working up to under the eyebrow. Would highly recommend from my experience of using it.
