Can you cut bottom to make shorter

Yes! No need to cut actually, you can just take the beads off by unwrapping the little wires they're all hung on. It's not one long string, each bead is on its own little piece of connector. It might affect the design but that's okay.

Is there a way to order a longer one?

Hello, Thanks for your question but we do not make custom order.

Can it be used outdoors?

Should not use outdoors as the color will fade out and the wire will be rusty.
