It's great to have games in the house when friends and family come around. This set is as described, and I like it. The case is a little bit lacking in quality, and the chips kind of light weight, but it doesn't affect how you can use it all. I did think it would be a bit nicer for the price.

All the pieces seem to be of high quality but (of course) not casino grade. This is totally forgivable at the affordable price this kit is offered at – casino grade gear can get very expensive. These look great and are affordable at roughly 10 cents per chip. In contrast, some of the collections I have are $5-10 per chip, and some in upwards of $75/chip. For a poker night with casual acquaintances, I don’t want to bring out my expensive set, in case someone (kleptomaniac) wants to bring home a “souvenir”. This set is perfect for situations like that. These chips are also good for a friendly home game where the stakes aren’t high.This ready-to-go starter poker chip kit comes with everything needed for a poker night and will step up a casual game to something more serious. 300 chips isn’t a lot – and is probably just enough for a friendly foursome, maybe 5 or 6 depending on how the chips are broken down. Ideally for a better poker game experience, each person starts with 50-100 chips, with some chips in reserve for the bank. For larger home games with more players or multiple tables, this set is affordable enough to get additional chips. In case you aren’t sure how many chips you need, there are a lot of free chip estimators online to assist figuring out the number chips needed for your personalized game.While the slight difference isn’t a big deal for home games, these chips are advertised as 11.5g per chip. I weighed 100 chips on two different scales and both registered around 1070 grams which equates to 10.7 grams per chip. These are also slightly out of casino chip sizing. Casino chips are 39mm x 3.3mm versus these chips 40mm x 3.24mm. Again, in game play, the small difference will not make a difference unless you use chip racks. Chip racks are designed to hold a stack of 20 chips with a slight extra gap to allow easy insertion and removal of a stack. The slight undersizing creates enough space to sneak a stack of 21 instead of 20 chips which can create accounting problems.This set comes with chips only, no storage solution. Therefore, be sure to get a case or some chip racks which are easily obtainable shopping at Amazon. Chip storage is typically NOT INCLUDED except with cheaper sets in a package deal.Would I order this again?
