Perfect for index cards
My son struggles with studying and we use this for his vocab words. He’s also used it for his judo terminology. We compile them together as he gets through them so he can keep looking back and not forget come exam time

Things rings are fine, but you’ll likely need a different hole punch. This one broke the first day we had it.

Excellent product for the lower cost
Rings open and close easily and stay closed really well. Used them for my toddlers flash cards and have no complaints. The hole punch seems cheaply made, but had no difficulties punching though laminated index cards.
