While working in healthcare often means that masks are no longer a thing of the past, I often find my ears painfully aching by the end of each shift with the hospital provided surgical masks. I ordered the JMU black disposable face masks to hopefully alleviate some of the pain left over from the cheaper versions. I am happy to say that these masks are not only comfortable for 12 hours of wear, the fit much better than the cheaper and standard issue hospital masks.Covering mouth and nose, these masks provide excellent protection while also keeping the backs of your ears from the painful marks left behind with alternative brands. I am pretty impressed with how well the adult size fits. Many of my coworkers have asked where to order these as they are comfortable and can match any of our scrub requirements. I would definitely recommend looking into this brand if you are someone working in healthcare or who needs to continue being cautious!

This is exactly what the medical professionals wear. It has great quality and seems like it can last for the whole day, but I'd switch out when it gets oily or sweaty. Other than that, I'm just stowing this away for those days when families in the Philippines get another volcanic eruption that spews a lot of ash and dust in the air. But if you still believe something like this doesn't alleviate your fear of particulates in the air, you're better off buying a respirator with charcoal filter cannisters. Otherwise, if this is suitable for your liking, then this is a good number of masks to have on hand. The elastic that goes around the ear has a good stretch and is very comfortable.

These masks work really well. I use them for my toddler as well and just double tie the ear loop. It covers your face while still allowing you to breathe. It's thick enough that I feel protected. I like how many come in the pack so I won't have to restock for a while.

After having to use a metro train system for work I started feeling like I should wear a mask in large crowds. These masks are actually really well made and they feel comfortable. They don't feel as stuffy as an N95 which is nice, but they do feel very protective. I like the colors and designs as well. They also help filter out a little bit of the unpleasant smells which is a plus.

These are a great set of standard face masks that will act as a protective barrier against dust and particles. I wear them when I clean the catbox as a precaution, and also have them on hand when I feel I am getting sick to protect my loved ones.I wear a lot of darker colors for my day to day clothing so I opted for the black colored face masks to match. I have no complaints, these fit me well and have been working great so far!

We go through a lot of these at the office and they are just as good as the ones we get through our normal supplier. The material has no odd scent, the mask portion is breathable while still feeling thicker than some other surgical masks we have had. The ear loops are comfortable for several hours of use. The nose portion has an imbedded metal strip to fit it to your nose and prevent fogging of glasses. The masks come in a nice dispenser box which is easy to use and looks good on the counter.

Great value for level 3 protection. There is a nose wire to help get a good fit, and comfortable ear loops which are not adjustable, but you could tighten up the whole thing with an additional band behind the head. The pleated form will adjust to all sorts of different faces. If the mask is comfortable, you're more likely to wear it often, and that will protect you better than a higher grade mask that you hate and never wear. These are light, comfortable, come in a box that is also a dispenser, and will give very good protection to you and those around you. I never leave home without one. Keep a box in the glove compartment of your car. These are such a value, and very good quality.

I was surprised when I received these face masks from JMU. The listing called these medical level 3 ASTM but when they arrived, they were not individually wrapped ( and didn’t say they were ) and they looked dirty. The dispenser box is not sturdy making it unusable. The part about looking dirty may have been flakes of white and brown cardboard from manufacturing or packaging but it was not what I expected. My rating based on the details above is 3 Stars.
