Just got my copy. Honestly, it's just nostalgia. I love it. They didn't change anything about the story or anything that makes Suikoden great. Just touched up on minor things, added difficulty and even speed up for battles. It's a nice feeling to me. I love it and enjoy it. I highly recommend it. I grew up on these games.

Exactly as described, this game is a classic jRPG that allows the protagonist to recruit many different characters and form his own army and castle. Get it before this thing jumps in price along with the rest of the rare titles

A beautiful remaster of the first two entries in one of my favorite game series ever. Sure, there are some low points, jokes removed and dialogue changed, but for the most part it's one-to-one a faithful remaster. The weakest part would be that, while some QoL changes were made to 1, it's still rather clunky and cumbersome with the inventory system, and the party formations sometimes can mess you over. But in the end, it's still a very good remaster, worth the purchase!

For the fans of the series it's a great gift to get to play these games again on the PS5. It's fun after all these years to revisit such a great game and even remember the storyline even after all this time.
