A pleasure to own
The phone is really well made. It looks good, it's easy to use and a decent size instead of some other big tinny feeling phones on the market. It was easy to setup and straightforward to use.It definitely looks good and feels good to carry as well as use.The company has been supportive and really helpful as wellI know the paperwork says rugged but I would recommend this phone for everyone to use and feel proud to carry.

Diddy work brick
Does what it needs to. I imagine anyone under 30 would be happy for young person reasons but for me it does what I need, has the main apps; social, music, bank etc., is a phone and can stream music through bluetooth. It looks very hard to break too. Camera isn't great but you're not buying this phone for that and its good enough for site pics so the boss knows you haven't been wanking the dog off all day or whatever.

Great phone with a slight issue.
Edit January 2025- The issue I described with WIFI log ins appears to be fixed. I'm now 100% happy with this phone. Original review below:First I have to say I am very happy with this phone, it is a sensible size, feels well made in hand, looks good and has very good battery life. I like the the tough build and water resistance, the camera works well and it is better than my last phone in every way. It seems excellent value too.Coming to the issue I had: When starting the phone, I entered the correct wifi password and it wouldn't connect. In the end, I had to complete set up offline. It still wouldn't connect to wifi, so I tried restarting and then all was fine. The next day when I visited a friend, I tried to enter a new password for another network and again it wouldn't connect. The wifi/internet button in the swipe down menu wouldn't respond. Another reboot and all was fine again, with the phone connecting automatically to both saved networks.I contacted Blackview, and they responded immediately. Apparently, they are aware of the issue and it should be fixed in a software update soon. I will probably only store five networks, so it isn't a big issue for me, but if you are constantly adding new networks this isn't the phone for you (for now at least).Another thing you may find helpful, Android 13 uses gestures to control the phone by default. If like me, you are lost without the three buttons at the bottom go to Settings>System>Gestures>System Navigation and select 3 button.I hope this is helpful.

Much heavier and bulkier than expected
First the good: good battery life and screen was bright enough, touch seems acceptable. WiFi range seems good. However the manufacturer images are not accurate and don't reflect how bulky it this handset actually is. The screen-to-body ratio seems to have been doctored in the images - see attached photo of the actual handset, paying attention to the bezels at the top and side. It's a chunky and heavy unit that is noticeably heavier than a normal smartphone and more noticeable in your pocket not less. I suspect the weight is well above the claimed 208g. Images in the listing with a credit card for comparison are misleading. The final straw for me was disappointing video and audio quality: when using for video calling on Messenger it struggled, I had to swap back to my 5 year old phone using the same connection and that was fine. (Perhaps the low-end chipset can't cope with video decoding?) Also the loudspeaker, although sufficiently loud, has a really unpleasant tone. I also had some issues with the WiFi forgetting its connections. I have decided to return this phone

Very good phone
Good phone, but it didn't come with earphones. However, customer service was quick to respond and offered to send the earphones. Overall, a good product and excellent service. Thank you!
