I will give you the facts first. The thing works great, the light that it puts out will blind you if you look at, so be careful when you first activate it that you are not looking at it. It is about six inches (6") high and five inches(5") wide, in comparison my hand is eight inches by seven inches and I'm six' two"(6'x2"), so maybe a small female or youth size hand possibly. It has a four button remote wireless controller that has four activation buttons, stop at the top, "surf" in the middle, the "bird" next then off at the bottom. A battery is provided for the remote, thank god because it is an odd style without a number on it. The hand uses four "AA" batteries which are NOT included. Installing the batteries is done thru a slide door on the remote or the hand, on the hand there is also a safe guard screw to hold the door in place, mine was missing, but it did still latch in place The hand is held in place (suggested) with two supplied Velcro strips that have glue pads that when one is attached to your glass and on to the hand it can be removed again and reattached if you wish. Once you push a button to activate a signal you must push another button to either change the signal or turn it off. For example, if you hit the STOP signal button at the top of the remote you must either push the "OFF" button, at the bottom of the remote to turn the light off, or you can push one of the other two buttons on the remote to change the sign/signal. As I stated before mine was missing a screw from the battery cover, it was also loose in the box when I opened the shipping box, so I don't know if that is where the screw went, but they should have done a better job of packaging, hence point lost. Now for my opinion, this thing could be really dangerous. People are so ready to fly off the handle now it isn't funny. Although this is a novelty some people don't have a sense of humor any more, road rage is so bad now they classify it as a disease. I think they could have done a better job by making the signals, at least the "Bird" push & hold, so when you release the button it goes out/off. It could be very hard to loose control of thought of what position or if you left the light on, then to look and see the buttons while the vehicle is in motion.
