Very very useful. I thought I knew everything about skincare after years of reading magazine articles and browsing beauty products. This really helped me to properly understand my skin. I had never realised that my skin was sensitive. I'd basically spent a lot of time and money focusing on anti-ageing when I should have been focusing on texture and redness.

I changed my facial care line and for a couple of months my skin was very dry, red, itchy and with premature lines of wrinkles. To try to fix the problem I was looking for a very expensive night cream someone recommended me, when I came across this book.It was very easy and straight forward to read. I always perceived my skin as oily. It haven't occurred to me that you could have oily-sensitive-wrinkled all together. By following her instructions, I figured the new facial care was actually all my skin didn't need and couldn't handle. The fact that I bought all the line, from cleanser-toner-serum-day cream-night cream..... I was overloading my skin.Following the advices in the book, I changed the night cream and my facial care routine. In days I could see a huge difference. I am still using the other products, but one of the line at a time. My skin is really amazing in just some weeks!!! it is hydrated but not oily, no longer sensitive and even the hormonal acne breaks are much less problematic and are gone without getting infected.All as she promise - without spending a fortune. It takes some time to read all ingredients on the labels to find if all products are good for my face. But it is worth the time. Another advantage is that will put my cream shopping addiction to check, as I need to research before buying anything so no more impulsive shopping is allowed.Really worth to read and to follow.

Very informative and practical. Having suffered from very dry and very sensitive skin and having followed so many peoples advice in the past on creams only to break out or end up with a rash or worse , I can really appreciate this book and have started following the advice specific for my skin type and and very happy with the results.Even after having gone to my dermatologist for specific problems they never told me how to take are of my skin or which products to use, this books does.

This is a real bible for those who want to understand and take good care of the skin. I recommend it to everyone who wants to have a broad view of the skin types.
