Stable, runs cool enough when tuned and full 8 P core performance.
I picked up an open box fair from Amazon Renewed (formerly Amazon Warehouse) and it arrived with just the chip itself in a clamshell container which is absolutely fine as long as it works. Price was good.Chip appeared used as expected but in good shape. Installation as always is straight forward. I opted to use a contact frame and KPx thermal compound. The 12700k/kf to me is the sweet spot for 12th-14th. They are priced well, you also get the same set of 8 performance cores as you get all the way through the entire Intel line up to even the 14900KS they just don't run as high / aren't binned as well.Performance was excellent and functionality when you disable e-cores is great.Since this is 12th gen, stability is great and there is no chance of degradation. I actually used a FROZN air cooler on it and it worked well and kept it cool enough when tuned with a proper UV.If you're on any semblance of Socket 1700, this is a great CPU that gives you full 8 P cores and peace of mind for any issues.

Great Deal!
I purchased this processor for my new PC build and let me tell you, it was a good decision. There is no reason to purchase the newest and latest processor out there for ~$500-$600 right now. There are processors that go on sale for $100-$200 all the time, just like this one. There is absolutely no lag when performing my day-to-day tasks.I paired this processor with a Gigabyte 3gb 1060 GPU and I am in love with the performance.I'm able to run Fortnite, Minecraft, Hogwarts, Stardew Valley, and any other game just fine.Browsing the web and writing code is a breeze. This has got to be the best bang for your buck right now.

holy performance boost. great great great price
I had a i3 12100F w a 3060, decided hey I want to upgrade, and holy wow. I’m actually mind blown, I play Valorant, I went from 230fps uncapped to 450fps uncapped. On Marvel Rivals I went from 100fps to 160fps capped steady, which matches my refresh rate on my monitor so it feels seamless. Great investment, it only cost me 100$ because I sold my old i3 for 65$. Amazing 100$ upgrade worth every penny so far. I have an AIO and I feel like I finally need an AIO, I’ve always felt like I wasted my money on it since my old I3 did not need that kind of cooling. I am now able to stream my games to my friends/gf without having any sort of stuttering in my game. Crazy how bottlenecked my GPU was I feel like I finally peeled the bandage and made my 3060 useful, crazy. Amazing and Overall great purchase. I would want a RYZEN but I had a LGA1700 motherboard so I decided to go this route, did not disappoint.
