Very helpful with starting up a collection

Great book, with good detail, and lots of well captioned photos. It mainly focuses on WW1 and WW2 with the Vietnam items dealt with quite briefly at the end. The one thing I would point out is that it does not deal with US Marine Corps webbing at all. The book only looks at US Army webbing used between 1910-1967.

Excellent service, good book.

This is an invaluable book (I own all four of the Europa webbing books and they are all of the same excellent quality) - I only hope the author will pick up where he left off and will write a book about post-1967 US web equipment (LINCLOE, ALICE, load-bearing vest etc).

The equipment of the US Army 1910 to 1967, all in a compact volume. The M1910, M1928, M1936, M1944, M1945, M1956, M1967 variants are all covered in quite some detail. also covers a wealth of related equipment. No other volume provides this amount of information. An excellent resource with excellent photographs and an informative text. It should be on every collectors bookshelf.

As a collector of mainly WWII (US) equipment, this book straightened out quite a few question marks that I had.Highly recommended!
