Elaborado en materiales de muy buena calidad. Seguramente resistirá muy bien el paso del tiempo

Well made
Giving it 4-stars, because I wish it had a “flapper” (in addition to the grating), to totally prevent not only bugs, but directional rain. The openings are angled, however sideways rain would likely admit water.. Otherwise it’s built very well. I did have to caulk around the grating, as the gap was a bit much

Strong case. Never thought it was going to be like this.
La caja metálica es más fuerte de lo que imaginé.

Just hair shy away from excellent design
Well build. It fits outside of 4 inch schedule 40 pvc pipe like glove. However, the housing of the cap should be slightly larger to maximize airflow. Even if vent area is already sufficiently large, a larger housing would be beneficial for marketing purposes. Also, a wall vent variation of this cap is needed, as I could not find one on the market.

works great for range vents
I ordered this vent to install a vented microwave and it's worked wonderfully. installation is tricky so you may need a pro if you're uncomfortable with the process. it's a rather tool-intensive install (drills, saws, caulking and cutting) so be sure to have everything you need before you start or else you'll have a hole in your roof

Works well on my RV roof.
I lost the roof vent for over my microwave off the top of my RV on the freeway, so I needed a new one.I painted this unit white and drilled more screw holes in the flange to create a better seal, since it's going on a flat roof and won't have the benefit of layered roofing and gravity to move water away and it will be moving down the highway.I had to enlarge the hole a little for the inset, but no biggie. I just got a 6" long blade for my jig saw and drew around the outside of this vent's exhaust tube, then followed that line to cut it out. It took less than a minute to do it, which is a tiny fraction of the time I spent on gathering the tools and materials for the install. If course, I had other things I was doing, so I waited until the last minute when it was about to rain before I actually got started. I don't know why I do that. But, it only rained on the microwave a little before I got it buttoned up, so no real calamity, right?I put a bead of Through the Roof sealant where the tube and flange meet and used white butyl tape (the kind with nothing but the goop) under the flange and subbed out the screws for ones with sealing washers and hex heads.I don't know if you would exactly recognize mine as the same thing that arrived, but it got here as a high-quality vent and it stayed that way.I'm very happy I ordered this in time to procrastinate the job and have it to install at the last minute.Thank You to the seller. The microwave in the RV out there thanks you, too, I'm sure.

Who is writing the reviews for this?
I wonder who the heck wrote the other reviews? For one, this is more along the lines of 4.5 inches, be prepared to special order a reduced or something more then tape for a 4 in duct. And the damper? There is no damper, just an anti-bug screen..Ignoring those discrepancies, it is a really strong and well made piece.
