Being the organizer and leader of a large social bicycle club here in Fort Lauderdale with over 1750 members, over 100 official tours and growing daily, the safety, health and well-being of our riders is always priority one. The same goes for our mounts as well. It is discussed before every slow roll. And one thing all my members know about me is that I love customization and personalization. And if it serves both safety and customization then roll on I say! My local bike shop Cycling Forza in Coral Springs could tell you how much they make from our patronage. We spend tons on toys and accessories that just make the rides more fun, more enjoyable, more convenient. And not just for technical stuff but for lots of other fun stuff as well, gadgets, toys and accessories are always welcome. I like to gift away some small safety item to our new members at the beginning of each slow roll, most often it will be a safety whistle to wear while riding. Sometimes the gifting goes to another level. It might be a lighting kit, a set of pedals or grips, locking kits, occasionally even a pair of gloves or a helmet. I encourage my members to keep their mounts very well maintained in order to not get left behind (in reality we would never let anyone get left behind). Anything that keeps you out of danger and improves the experience of riding is for us. This VELTUNO Bike Helmet For Adults does not have to be just for bike riding. There are also scooters and skateboards and the like. I think that it looks very equestrian. You might use it for horseback riding. And you would have every encouragement to do so. It is definitely sized for adults. It is manufactured to the same standards as any other of the well known biking brands out there. Most likely on the same production lines in china as the hundreds of dollars brands and sellers we all would like to have. The padding is fully sufficient and the straps are top shelf. One thing this brain bucket could use is just a bit more ventilation and it might have had a five star rating. Comfortable and cute. I typically don’t wear helmets due to how constricting they are/uncomfy. This one has a chin strap and a dial tightener on the back. Very useful. Def recommend (as someone using it to commute).

Easy adjustment for snugness - chinstrap needs extra padding. Ventilation system is helpful as the dark color absorbs heat.

The helmet is comfortable. It's easy to adjust. On the back of the helmet there's a knob that controls the tightness around your head. I just put the helmet on and turned the knob until it was comfortably snug. The chin strap was already where it needed to be out of the box. I think it's a pretty good looking helmet too. I'm digging it so far.

I am a sixty-something that enjoys road cruising on my bicycle. I have a lousy history for skin damage due to too much sun exposure as a kid, so I needed a helmet that was less open and ventilated like most of the average oval shaped bicycle helmets are designed. This Veltuno helmet is the perfect answer to keeping my scalp protected from the sun. There are 4 small ventilation holes atop the helmet; basically no ability for the UV to enter or focus on any area for any consequential amount of time. The wide shape of the helmet hangs out just above the ears, so it protects during the hours when the sun is higher in the sky. If I have a ride that will be earlier or later in the day when the sun will be shining in on my ears, I have a separate sun hat with ear flaps and neck flap that goes on first and the helmet slips over the sun hat. (the separate hat is commonly called a legionnaire hat for UV protection).
