Both are smooth. The rose is pale pink. The amethyst however is dark and just gorgeous and I bought several after seeing how pretty and smooth they were . The amethyst by far is a definite keeper and would give as a gift because it looks and feels great at the lower price point. If I buy more than one of anything, then I am a very happy customer.

The African blood stone I received is conveniently sized to fit in the hand and comes with a small pouch. The stone's surface is smooth to the touch, providing a pleasant tactile sensation. However, I was expecting the stone to feature a range of colors, but the one I received was only in shades of black and grey, which was a bit disappointing. Despite this, it still makes a nice gift for collectors or anyone interested in unique stones, thanks to its appealing texture and convenient packaging.

This is a pretty amethyst stone. Comes in a nice velvet pouch that’s also in a plain grey gift box. Size is as described, but the color is a bit underwhelming, as the one that I received is more translucent & brown veining with a little purple...not the punchy purple shown in the product pics. It’s still pretty...just expected way more purple & way less brown.

The item pictured is a bright beautiful Amethyst purple stone. The item I received is a gray and white drab ugly stone. HIGHLY MISLEADING and disappointed.
