Fit without a problem
I have a Savage Rascal Youth that was needing a scope so I ordered this pair of scope adapters to install CVLife 4X32 scope ( the newer model with longer eye relief and larger eye-box, purchased here at Amazon) These are actual Savage adapters and I had no trouble installing them to the gun. The scope rail height is a significant distance above the line of the barrel in order to allow bolt clearance, so I figured I would need to get low profile Pica-tinny mounts to attach the scope as close to the barrel as possible (without touching, of course). It turns out that the Savage adapters are actually Weaver mount so I had to get scope mounts that are compatible with both Weaver and Pica-tinny. (Also from Amazon) The scope mounted without a problem and the bolt clears the scope rings although it is close at about 1/16 inch clearance. My only complaint is that I wish the mounts were a little longer so that the scope had more adjustment forward and back.

Perfect fit, mount a red dot and save your littlest ones from the struggle with irons.
Good fit, nice addition to a terrific little dude's (or dudette's) rifle. My grandson is right handed, left eye dominant, not quite 6 years old. We were struggling to get him comfortable with the iron sights on our new Savage Rascal 22 because of that. I added these scope mounts and a red dot sight, now you should see him glow as he knocks down pop can after pop can! I also added a 6 to 9 inch bipod (very small) and the little Rascal 22 bears a strong resemblance to Grandpa's 308 with bipod and big scope. (See picture) In a case like this, the red dot sight can act like the early occluded red dot sights where you can't see Through the sight, you only see the red dot. He sees the red dot with his weak eye and the target primarily with his right eye, but the brain connects the images flawlessly so that in effect it works the same as if he was right eye dominant. To him, you just put the red dot on the pop can and you have success. So that was a bit of a digression, back to the mounts. Not much to say, perfect fit, correct screws in the correct length, the two piece design leaves plenty of room to get at the bolt and loading area. Very small price for a nice quality fix.

Good bases.
They do work well and feel sturdy. A couple hundred rounds of .22 and they remain set. I would like them to not sit so high. Though, this would exacerbate the issue I describe below. Even with low rings, it requires my kids to lift their cheek off the buttstock. I too must lift my head some. I will have to build them a cheek rest for their Rascal. Not many options, if any, out there for a quality set of bases for the Rascal. One important note: even though these are specific to the Rascal, I did have to take the rear most scope ring, on its right side (bolt handle side), and gently grind a beveled edge to the scope ring base - the edge of the clamping portion of the base. It was impossible to full open the bolt handle upward prior to putting it to the grinding wheel. Maybe 1mm of clearance would have allowed the bolt handle to open, albeit narrowly. So, I ground a beveled edge of about 2mm which allowed some wiggle room for the bolt handle to operate. No big deal, and you could do this with a standard iron file from the hardware store (just smooth it out when done reducing material). Scope rings used were Vortex.

Didn’t like
I got this but it wouldn’t work like I had hoped. The sight I was going to put on this wouldn’t fit very well. It hung off a bit in the front
