VTech Kidi Star Drum Pad, Black

Gave this to my grandson for his 5th birthday last week. He absolutely loved it and played with it for hours. The toy has lots of play options including Bluetooth capability. It plays and teaches songs, and has lots of free play settings. There are also numerous options for sound choice and enhancing. The cymbal feature is something I’ve never seen in toy drums. I love that other than 2 drumsticks, all this is contained in a single unit. The drum seems to have sturdy construction. On a side note, his little 2 yr old brother has great interest in the toy as well. This is a next level drum toy that a child can enjoy and grow into for a long time. Recommend.

Awesome drum pad for the littles. Got this for my 3 year old who loves to drum and put dents in everything. He is pretty good about only drumming on this now thankfully. It’s small and easy for him to control on his own. He immediately learned the basic functions like changing the drum sounds. He loves the more silly sounds that can be chosen. It is easy to learn and a great way to keep him busy. Both my kids get a lot of enjoyment out of it when they take turns. My furniture is very thankful that we got this.

Bought for a 62y/o developmentally disabled adult I care for, she’s nonverbal with severe cerebral palsy. She loves music, the cheap drum sets with button “drums” don’t have a good reaction time, so I bought these. 10/10. They have silicon/rubber pads to beat on for the drums, and cymbals. Very sturdy and satisfying for her to play with and hear the reverb/bass immediately respond to her tapping them. As for the technical aspect, all of the features she will never understand, but any child would enjoy them and learn a lot! This is a great product and even though she can’t use the technical aspects, it was well worth the $70 for the sound and beat quality.

My granddaughter loves this set! Easy to use with a lot of play options.

Easy to use. All our kiddos (ages 4-19) and adults who see it love drumming on this. Its so much fun! Definitely a great purchase!

"I bought this VTech Kidi Star Drum Pad looking for something that wasn't a giant battery and it was a total success. What I like the most is that the pads respond super well to the touch, you don't have to hit them excessively hard to make them some. The games he brings to keep up are very entertaining and really help them learn coordination. In addition, the fact that it is portable is a plus, we move it from the living room to the bedroom without problems. A great detail is that you can connect your own music. Highly recommended to arouse musical interest!"

Great toy! Only drawback is we seem to have to replace batteries quite often but otherwise my son loves this drumset

Fantastic beginner drum pad!

My son wants to learn the drums but I didn't want to spend a bunch of money and take up a bunch of space with a full battery he may or may not use. This is the perfect compromise as it's not too big, not too pricey, and it is a legit little drumset. You can customize the sounds, pick a built-in accompaniment or provide your own, and play along and it's a lot of fun. The tips and lessons are great ways to get started learning how to play properly, while the games help with timing and accuracy while giving you a goal. I still plan to get proper drum lessons for my son but this has been excellent for motivating him to play and learn to do more than just smack the drums randomly.

Its a lovely pair of drums my grandbaby loves them
